and just to show I'm not a homer I'm backing West ham to beat my tottenham weds night.
Its absurd that tottenham have to play twice in 48 hours, this is pure situational handicapping thats not reflected in the prices.
This would be a keenly fought london derby with both teams at full strength and on full rest.
We just edged west ham 1-0 in the league a few weeks back, Pochettino WILL put out an all reserve team after playing monday and we're playing again saturday night. Some managers play to win the lesser cups, Poch doesn't care about this one. West Ham will likely rest some players as well but significantly theyre at home and they're up to beat Tottenham in an egg and spoon race, they beat macclesfield town 8-0 in the last round, check the lineups but I dont think you'll see 1 player who played on monday play on weds. West ham are a great play at almost 2/1, I'm posting this now because I think that price will drop.
oh and no blind overs in the carabao matches for me this week.
You're right, I think it is difficult to play games so close together...and it's the league cup so not that important to some clubs.
