works for a day or 2 , they are too smart 

put 2 inflatable huge great white sharks in my pool last year floating in the wind , took a few days until they figured its of no harms

had 2 extermination companies here , they are clueless

what worked is to play sounds of dying crows , but even to that they got now used to

On line they say if you fly a string of pennant flags that will keep them out.  You need the motion and colors.
