MLB is so sorry nowadays -- keep changing pitchers until they find one that can blow the game for them.
1st pitcher goes 5 innings and give up 5 hits and 3 runs
Then the next 3 pitchers go 1 inning each and give up a total of 1 hit and no runs.
Go to ninth inning and bring in yet another pitcher. He gives up 4 hits, including a HR and gives up 4 runs and 2 walks and loses the lead in the game, and they are still pitching him!
