just had the plumber here the problem is not in our house and not in our sewage line , but there is a clogging between the line from our house to the city sewage , which the city built , but guess what , our responsibility , fucking BS ! next step guy coming over with a camera to see what and where it is , if we are lucky it can be fixed with high power pressure , cost around $1000 , if not they need to open up the area to the city line and exchange it , costs around 10 Grand

Although CA has some horrible state laws, so I guess I wouldn’t be completely surprised. I know in like Brooklyn for example the brownstone owners are responsible for fixing sidewalks outside their homes. Can get very expensive to replace.
