early start, no time get this up ystday. busy wknd coming up and hope to catch a few games. will just toss up thoughts and what discussed earlier in week. not very organized.
as watching these final matches it's a good place to start. as always, with Intl breaks, be mindful of lines for the big-boy league clubs whom have rosters full of Intl regulars. flying from here to Timbuktu crossing europe; some getting banged up, tired legs, and some logging heavy minutes in important matches for their countries. those clubs with the misfortune of getting stuck with playing on Friday (or those early starts) going up against mid-table clubs whom been sitting there preparing/practicing for over a week for them. another typical banana-peel weekend. at the very least, fading them should be looked at. be careful of painting that brush wide tho.
and this is a Sandwich wknd so a repeat of Round 3 after break would be nice.
Serie A: coming off Intl break and again straight into sandwich spots for the THIRD time this year. our lads & Milan stuck in nasty spots. will start with CL clubs first:
Lazio/Juve - (sandwich spot so already automatically fading them) we have consistently blown chunks in this spot. however, this is one of the 2 reasons most already made play on tuesdays match vs Chelsea last week. we're facing Sarri for first time since sacking him. theres still several in that locker room whom happy to see him gone, and werent shy about saying it. but with a bunch of guys whom put in a boatload of minutes for their countrys this past week I wonder about our chances here. not to mention Cirro didnt play at all over break and doubt h'll be ready in time; but we're missing Giorgio & Dyb doesnt appear he will be fit in time, so that cancels another out. Sarri going to have them all fired up for this one. Im hoping to get something out of this it but the sandwich plays make the most sense to me. and agree, the 2.5 could hit before break.cant see either team keeping the other out. PASS on everything else tho.
Fiorentina/Milan -(sandwich spot) i was wrong too, luckily won the play but for this? i disagree. if Milano was just going focus on the Scudetto then why did Pioli sub-in all his big guns after the hour mark vs Porto (remember, they had their derby with Inter in 3 days); as a coach, you dont pull stuff like that without meaning it. and if you take a peek, they still have a very decent shot at advancing if win their remaining matches. still a sandwich and Viola have been playing well keep in mind they are just 1-5 vs the other big-boys ahead/near them in the table this year, and Milan havent lost in Florence in past 5 visits. not touching anything else on this one.
Inter/Napoli - an important one. staying away. Lorenzo looked totally drained vs Ireland and with a lovely trip to Moscow coming up next thursday ya got to wonder if this is the match where that goose egg disappears in the 'L' column. but Inter had a boatload playing heavy minutes in important matches this past week too. plus a 'must win' on Wednesday evening. theres better value elsewhere. ill probably toss some on the draw once can get lineups but for now. PASS.
