LOL that hilarious. Yep can't trust the English or French. Both terribly terribly overrated. Germans have been spotty. Portuguese awful last match. Guess we will see what this match brings before declaring them overrated too. To me the only squad that has regularly impressed me is Spain. 36 shots yesterday with 1/4 or more on net. Not great efficiency but it got the job done.

That is the real puzzle here isn't it. He played so well at the WC so it isn't like he just is being Ronaldo like in an inferior league putting up gaudy numbers. Plus PSG held their own in the champions league (well until they didn't anyway). But yeah you do have to wonder don't you.

Last goal vs USA was on the backup keeper, and would never have gone past their starter.

USA might be running into a buzzsaw. Uruguay could set a COPA record for scoring. I see 3-1 Uruguay on USA's backup keeper. At best USA can go 1-1, go extra time and grab some luck, if they have their regular keeper.

Uruguay forcing US to play more defensively by slowing the tempo....they aren't intimidated by anything the US can offer. So this one needs an opening goal, but sure looks unusually dull. Not much drama either.
