Somehow managed to tread water and win some cash despite not achieving the results I wanted this week. Personally I see a very tricky day today as some of the matchups pit bottom dwelling teams and others just seem too obvious:
TOTTENHAM (-135): Usually when a team has only lost ONCE in the past 16 H2H's, with 2 draws, to the other side, this would be a BIG PLAY. But teams like to play on days they are used to, like Wednesdays and Saturdays, and Tottenham, for as good as they have been, already played on Monday and will have a short week playing today. They make a short trip across town to face Crystal Palace who haven't been all that awful, maybe outside of this past weekends drubbing at the hands of Newcastle. Moreover, Crystal Palace have allowed the LEAST FH goals so it might be tricky out the gate for the Spurs. It's too early to know the lineups atm so I"m going to think by the final whistle, Tottenham would have put their best feet forward and most likely be the victors.
CELTA VIGO/GIRONA OVER 1 (-176) FH and OVER 3 (+100) FG: I did this earlier in the week and will do it again, stating the same...when the TOTAL is this high for a FH they will undoubtedly get at least the push. Almost never fails. Celta Vigo is a porous defense, even worse on the road, and Girona has had a dream start to the season, especially at home. Both teams have scored in this situation and so I see at least a push here. If Celta Vigo can grab a goal, which they might, this game will surely go OVER the total.
MAINZ/BOCHUM OVER 1 (-150) FH: Bochum is a first half goal machine, and I don't mean them just scoring. They are buried in the standings and now play a team that is similar to them in Mainz. This game is a total crap shoot but will be played with limited defense imo. As stated above, at worst I see a push in the FH.
That is all I'm going to go for today. Genoa is playing Salernitana, at home, and should win BUT they have struggled agains that side in the past, only winning 2 of the past 5 on home turf. NO idea which Nice team shows up and the Dutch game should feature goals, but I'll wait for tomorrow to get cute. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
