Hey guys, have had a couple of non-betting days recently simply because I have not found anything that looked tempting enough so I decided to save the units for the weekend and prepare for it instead.
Saturday is a busy day, but "only" 3 plays from my side. I actually look forward to Sunday more as I have looked at matches there already. But let's start with Saturday. Here are my locked in plays
Bastia - PSG: Pick: PSG -1.5 @ 2.05 (1 u)
Not sure I need to mention much about PSG here, they are clearly the superior team here and should easily defeat Bastia who are suffering an injury chaos at the moment with players like offsneive midfielder Milos Krasic, defender Palmieri and first goalkeeper Landreau, along with midfielder Raspentino and Ba. The hosts should struggle with these names out, they do not have decent replacement enough to cover up all over the field since they do not have that much depth. PSG are coming here with the target to win and trying to keep pushing for the title obviously, you cannot fail to win these kind of games if you are PSG with stars on the field and on the bench. I must take the handicap against Bastia who are injury prone at the moment. _____________________________________
Åtvidaberg cashed for us last time with a 4-0 win at home. Now they hit the road versus an amateur team in Carlstad United, consisting of players from the lower leagues of Sweden, third tier. They lost 4-0 against a similar team to Åtvidaberg last time in the group, against Brommapojkarna (who are literally on the same level as Åtvidab).
Carlstad is a team of amateur players, they have an attendance average of around 400 people per home game which defines their size as a club. Their first goalkeeper is 18 years old, still studying in school and now he is about to oppose Åtvidaberg with a strikeforce good enough for a mid table team in Allsvenskan (highest tier in Sweden). Moreover, Carlstad will miss their most important midfielder Bastian Rojas Diaz who has experience from IFK Göteborg in Allsvenskan. Defensively they are no stars either.
Åtvidaberg has pretty much the same squad since they demolished Jönköping Södra last week with 4-0 (a team one tier higher than Carlstad). However, the return of newly signed striker Viktor Sköld is a great boost to an already superior team obviously. Regardless if Åtvidaberg are less dominant on the road, I can’t oversee the fact that two divisions are separating these two teams. Åtvidaberg should win this by more than 2 goals and show their dominance again – a victory here would give them an exceptionally good start of the Swedish Cup. Anything but an away win is a huge upset.
I have peeked a bit at the Romanian league now as well apart from Sweden, Portugal, Spain etc I have a certain interest for the smaller eastern leagues and I could not help to place a bet on Universitea Cluj here considering the situations for each team.
Concordia is a turbulent club at the moment, bad finances mixed along with horrible results and a coach under huge pressure, 3 straight home losses and 6 winless games in a row. Now you may wonder why place a bet on a team that are 0-2-8 on the road? Well, they are a completely different team now after the winter break, they have gotten a powerful sponsor that has saved the club financially and thanks to this – Universitea Cluj brought in some quality players for Romanian standards – so good, they even beat the main title contender Astra last week. Before that, they have started to gather points as well, at least they are avoiding losses which is positive. They fight to survive relegation and this is why the investments has been made. Concordia played 2-2 away to league worst Corona (weakest club in the league) and the club is a mess right now. This is a good spot to take U.Cluj as there is huge value. Odds are dropping already, from 4.00 down to 3.20 at this point, I will safe it up with Draw No Bet to get a nice value, as I do not see U.Cluj leave this game without a point. Ever since they got new players they have taken a point in each game, and this is the easiest one "on paper" of their opponents since then. I would want to go "heavier" on this game but since I am still a rookie on the league, I will play it safe with a unit. My romanian league 'expert' adviced me to play on Cluj last week against the leaders Astra at 6.00 but I didn't believe it was possible, and they actually won which made me realize that I will try them next time.
Good luck everyone :)

Thank you for the compliment mate, I always play them singles with a regular stake (1 unit mostly). Biggest I have played is 6 units on a single, but that happens rarely, only if I get some good inside information.
I don't like to just post my selections without a motivation why I am playing the specific game, provide an angle. There is a reason behind every play.
For instance I never play total goals over/unders, because it's always 50/50 in my eyes, every game has a different face even if you can predict a certain match-picture of which team will dominate etc. I am all for moneylines and handicaps, always picking one side depending of the information that I gather or know about already.
Let's hope we can enjoy a good Saturday and move on to Sunday with a good confidence.
Best of luck mate and thank you once again.

1-1-1 sums up the day, which gives us a mini profit of +0.05 units on Saturday. Obviously all profit is good, but moving on to tomorrow hopefully we can hit the bigger green numbers

Followed you on PSG (would've followed on the other two, but my book didn't offer them). Keep up the work, bro. Looking forward to your other posts/picks/write-ups.
