The US has had a good run so far but they will be playing a team that is alot better than the first 3 teams they faced in the first round. This Ghana team is physically dominating all over the pitch. They are faster, stronger and more technically gifted than the Americans. I know I may have upset a few people with this but it is the truth. Ghana is the only remaining African team and for good reason. They lost in the African Nations Cup only to the champions Egypt by the score of 1-0. In the group stage of the World Cup, Ghana had to face much stiffer competition in Serbia, Australia and Germany and in all three matches Ghana never looked overmatched. Even in the game against Germany, Ghana was unlucky to come away with no points. The US on the other hand had a cup cake group. England who btw is very tired after a grueling club season, clearly underrated the Americans in the first game . Against Slovenia who was lucky to even make the World Cup the US struggled and in the final game against Algeria another team that was a suprise to qualify for the World Cup the Americans could only muster an injury time goal. Now I'm not saying the US sucks but against Ghana the US is overmatched. This is a team who has the luxary of benching a guy named Sully Muntari who started for Champions League winners Inter this year. They are a very talented team that many people in the World sleep on. Again I really dont see any advantages for the US in this game anywhere on the pitch so even though I want the US to win, my money is on Ghana to advance.
