Got a kick ass white bean oven dish for tonight, with some kick ass red wine.....

Ganda that sounds great , recipe ? 

A bit like a cassoulet, but without the meat.

Chop finely 2 carrots, 2 celery sticks, 1 onion, 1 small leek, glaze it all slowly with some pancetta or bacon or whatever, add chopped garlic and don't burn it, add tomato paste or I prefer passata, let it darken in color slowly, no high heat, stir, add herbes (bay leaf, herbes de provence, pepper, paprika, whatever), add can of white beans or 2, I like navy. Splash of red wine. If too thick add some chicken stock, put in oven dish, bake at 400 for 15 mins, add breadcrumbs or panko on top and bake for another 15 or so, should be brown on top and bubbling a bit. Serve with a duck leg and some good bread. And red wine.

P, it's not set in stone, you can play around with ingredients or amounts, I never measure out shit....
