 Maybe they should have celebrated.. they wouldve added 10 more minutes just for a celebration.. they have not explained how they decide extra time

Gawd I would hope that they would just put it all on the field, blow them out and worry about what Japan is doing after the game. They control their own destiny if they play the way they are capable of playing. Guess we will see what the 2H brings.

I know Costa Rica always seems to implement a defensive first approach but it almost feels as if they are playing to not get embarrassed rather push for it knowing now they need two goals to win and advance (provided Japan doesn’t win). Germany gifted them a goal almost by the defense falling asleep but that was their best chance. Always a head scratcher with what’s at stake. If they want to have any shot at advancing they need to push forward more and take chances. Will they?
