International friendlies prior to the World cup are always a great value when backing dogs versus teams heading to the big show that want to avoid injury and test out tactics. The public will always back the WC team, the opponents want to show they are not push overs and would love a good result versus a squad that is World Cup bound.
1. Cyprus +2 @ 2.00/+100 (INT F) 2 Units
Cyprus has not lost a game by more than 2 goals in over a year in a half. Away from home Cyprus has not lost by more than two since 2009. Kagawa has said that the result will not matter & the coach Zaccheroni will not want to risk recent injured trio Uchida, Yoshida & captain Hasebe. I expect this to be the Japan B+ team.

I capped this match earlier this morning and almost went on the over in this match......but i did read some things about Japan not playing all their starters ..........If they were to field a full team I could see Japan scoring 2 or 3.......but Cyprus as you say has a way of condensing the match as to not look silly........sometimes I wonder if Cyprus is even trying to win....ha...
I backed off the over as i pencilled in scores of 1-0, 1-1, 0-1......you should have the edge if Japan doesnt play those few key elements.....or those "B" team players dont get excited and get an early one in front of their own crowd. I cant take Cyprus because they lay too many goose eggs for my taste but in this spot the +2 should be worth gold!!
Cheers
