*Information gained from torture is useless. Everybody in the intelligence world knows this. Studies prove it. Torture is not used for information gains, it's used as a warfare and punishment tool. Hitler tortured, Stalin tortured, Syria tortures, IS tortures. It's shameful for a democracy and a true nation.
*Cuba is not so bad. American media give a one sided picture. Ordinary Cubans are way better off than ordinary Mexicans, Brazilians or Argentinians. Cubans enjoy free and relatively high quality health care, education, access to arts and sports. Yes, they are not "free", I couldn't live under a communist regime myself, but Cuba is not the root of all evil and their citizens will be worse off in 25 years when they can join the rest of Central and South America in crushing poverty for 95% of the population.
*today's attacks were planned long ago, but moved up, because Abdeslam was arrested 4 days ago and was going to talk. Without being tortured.
*Unfortunately, Trump has more similarities with Hitler than with Reagan. Slogans, threats and "easy answers" will not work in a complex world. It's not black and white, no matter how much he wants you to believe it is.
*Good, decent people are everywhere, lucky for me, on a day like today, I found some here. And P emailed me as well. Have a good night guys, and keep believing in the good, there's enough evil out there.
