Coppa Italia: irrespective of the WC debacle, the Coppa Italia is something the big clubs (Serie A teams) really take seriously. there are even some whom say its trumps the UCL/Europa as far as importance. Im not painting this with a broad brush and saying it applies to ALL, but generally speaking by & large it's "up there" as far as motivation is concerned. 10 out of the 12 Serie A teams whom participated in the 3rd round advanced. (the "Big Boys" get invited next round)
getting the early one up first.
Cagliari -1.5 @-120
Cagliari to win + over 2.5 @-125 - the fact that they are still in this is proof theyre taking this seriously; Pordenone is a Serie C squad whom barely beat a few Serie B squads to get this far. too much of a step up in class here. this should be a comfy home win.
back later with other plays

Eng Prem:
Brighton to win @+160
BHA/CP over 2.5 @+140 - I feel like Im pushing my luck with Palace; ever since their sandwich win vs chelsea im 3-0 with their games. go figure. while we are on the topic of "figuring".... Palace is 0-0-6 with a 0/13 goal difference on the road. why such a nice price on Brighton? ehhhh, scr*w it. sometimes "thinking" is bad.
and since they have problems keeping clean sheets at home (h*ll, everton scored vs them) + Palace showing signs of having a pulse lately; the price is too good to pass up.
Leicester/Tott over 2.5 @-125 - I have Totty to nail down a top 4 finish in a future but cant predict their matches worth a d*mn this year. dropping pts last weekend and most likely rest for the regulars this coming weekend (not sure), Id have to imagine we see a motivated performance from them. the 2.5 over looks tempting.
Coppa Italia:
Samp -1.5 @-115
Sampdoria/Pescara over 3.5 @+110, over 4.5 @+225 - Samp has a decent lineup set to start. Pescara had the worst defense, by far, of anybody last year on their way to relegation. and now that they are back in Serie B???.... same d*mn thing with the 3rd most conceded. and they were just destroyed 4-0 last wknd too & buddy said their focus was Serie B survival now that they find themselves in the lower half of table. 6th place Samp should have no problems - even with a few rested - of finding back of net here.
Eng. Lower Leagues:
Gosport/Langley over 3.5 @even
Folkestone -1 @-125
Harrow/Billericay over 3.5 @+137
Copa Sud:
Independ/Libertad over 2.5 @+135, halftime over 1 @+114 - semis 2nd leg. Libertad won 1-0 last week. paraguayans will park the bus and try to fend off the argentine side but Independ have been pretty impressive at home this year; however one of the key reasons for taking a shot at this is such the visitors also have a pretty impressive ability to find back of net on road (in all but two games)
