Noone knows when the true stronger side will actually try to break away from parity, because their mangers keep their star players from asserting themselves (see France, England...) or will have body parts over the line in the VAR systems.
I like how you stay confident and positive after losing...not easy.

The parity at this level defensively makes it difficult to attack on that left flank so predictably with Mbappe. Time to realize that France cannot get that seperation they're used to.
Not too many PKs in this tournament (maybe 4 or 5) and France got a huge one. But notice how they can't hang on. It's like the character is also lacking. Their only true goal is this PK. Now as the 3rd best they will get the winner of C which is unknown until tomorrow. I think they were far more creative w/ Greizman and Giroud, but they are now late subs, and still trying to feed the flanks.
They are still so damn tuff to score against (a reflection of Deschamps whose WC teams as a player were always winning by ridiculous 1-0 fashion). The public is enamored with Mbappe because he is so heavily marketed, so in the heads of everyone in Europe....but PSG has admitted they "overpaid" for him.
Anytime France is playing, at this level....under or no play.
