Some very interesting lines out there today, some that will surely leave cappers questioning the numbers and ultimately themselves.. While, I don't often put too much stock into league results for CL matches, I do have a look at how teams fare against the best in their league with the thinking that, they are playing the best in their league and in many cases even better. It's not my sole reference cap, but in some cases it does shed some light on some of these clubs and helps determine if they truly are a strong side or might be maquerading as a fraud.
Spartak Moskva +0.5 -114 (7.98 units) Spartak Moskva +280 (3 units) Spartak Moskva-Sevilla over 2.5, 3 -108 (7.56 units)
Arguably the four best teams in the Russian Premier League are Zenit, Lokomtiv, CSKA and Krasnodar; Spartak is 1-3 against these teams thus far in league play with a 2-0 win vs Krasnodar at home and a 4-3 loss to Lokomoti. Away from home they lost to CSKA 2-1 and got smoked by Zenit, 5-1. But put those aside for now given this is a home match. 5 goals for and 4 against in two matches vs. the top of the league. Sevilla's lone match against the upper eschelon in La Liga was a 2-0 loss on the road at Atletico. Diving in a bit further in their league road matches, they lost to above average Bilbao and only beat sub-par clubs, Getafe and Girona each 1-0. They haven't shown much on the road thus far in league play, but surely one woiuld expect higher class for CL, especially with the the group still wide open. Both clubs will be keen to pick up three points, so despite Sevilla's seeming inadequacies on the road, I think they find the net, just might not be enoiugh to overtake a strong home contingent..
Plenty more to come, no work todsy, which is amazing and dangerous.. you'll see a lot of action on my card today, so lean more toward danger zone

Just playing numbers here and wha I perceive as oddsmakers leading the lamb to the slaughter with a well known Liverpool side and a completely unknown Maribor club. Strong home team, who doesn't lose much there and doesn't allow many to find the back of the net. Since Jan 2016, Liverpool has only won 4 out of 32 PL road matches by more than a goal.
Manchester City-Napoli over 3, 3.5 -109 (8.72 units)
Both of these clubs have been in cruise control to start league play and while conventional wisdom would suggest that playing top of class from another premeir league would slow things down, I just don't see that taking shape today. This feels like a 2-2, or 3-1 finish with both teams on attack. Napoli has netted at least one goal in their last 29 road matches.

Feyenoord-Shakthar Donetsk under 2.5 -103 (9.27 units)
Shakthar will take a point here and they have really struggled on the road in CL, failing to score in 7 of their last 8 matches. this dates back to 2015, but it's system driven and they struggle when they are outclassed. I wouldn't say that is the case here with Netherlands on a decline, but they'll be conservative in their approach and hope to steal a point on the road.
Monaco -1 Even (9 units)
I'm probably in the minority here, but I just think they show up in top form tonight. They smoked Marseilles at home this season in league play, so it's there, they just need to care. Besiktas is not running so well to start their league play - tough team to figure out though. With six points out of the gates in group play, they might not push too hard in this one. Surely, they want to win, even will settle for a draw, but often times, when you change your traditional mentality, it backfires, and that's what I see playing out tonight.

Porto is not an over club despite what the early CL results reflect. RB needsa win here to have any shot of advancement, confidence should be high following the impressive road win vs. Dortmund last time out. Fear of them being fatigued a bit, but I think that leads itself to a defensive minded approach. Score an early one and then park the bus. Not a typical approach, but three points is three points and you often have to change strategy to get them.
Borussia Dortmund -1.5, 2 -111 (8.88 units)
I think this gets ugly. Dortmund needs one of those games where they unleash some frustration and I think that's this one
Tottenham +1, 1.5 -103 (9.27 units)
Real Madrid is the class of the CL, but if anyone can be an annoying product in a team's success it is Harry Kane

Casanova - good stuff, thank goodness for car trouble . In a similar stroke of luck, in all my fumbling around, I mistakenly played the Feyenoord over even though I liked the under. A mistake that paid off, literally. Glad you hit on Spartak
