i know of 2 friends i met last night , their family house is gone , they had to evacuate with minutes time to pack , police said evacuate NOW or we will arrest you

they went to their sister in Pasadena , an hour later had again to evacuate

exactly ... Make decisions and do it, just don't wait days .. , so many tech things now, they can react so fast, develop heavy Drones that can carry water in heavy winds and drop water... I mean I'm not smarter than them, but jeeez do something fine ways ..
