I actually consider Whiskey to be my best friend. Seriously ... he and I go way back. He's just in a surly and negative mood today. Geesh, you nail a guy's wife and he holds a grudge! JK ... I would do pretty much anything for Whiskey and he'd do the same for me. I'd take a bullet for him ... hopefully small caliber and in a non-vital area.
Whiskey is trying to point out that recently, I don't actually bet all the plays I post ... I'd like too but I've had a very bad run since the WC and don't have a lot of cash to throw around ... he has suggested that this may be misleading to anyone who might look at my picks ... however, I see it differently ... if I were pulling picks out of my ass and throwing darts at the wall then posting plays, that would be misleading ... however, I spend the same amount of time capping plays I actually play as I do capping games I would play if I had more cheddar available. As long as I'm putting in the time and thinking about the plays, I don't see the difference and I don't think I'm being misleading. I enjoy coming to this forum and hearing what others have to say.
Bottom line - Recently, I play some of my picks and I post some that I don't actually wager on ... I try to win both types of plays ... I take losing the same whether it is on a "played" play or a non-wagered yet posted play ... I research the plays equally. One type is no more well-researched than the other ... IN FACT, LATELY, ALL I WIN ARE THE "MONOPOLY" PLAYS, LOL ...
Folks, tail or don't tail ... I'm having a good time, want to win, hate the prospect of having a negative wager history (regardless of whether it is a real money or a "monopoly" money play), and research accordingly. There are a lot of solid cappers on this forum - much more so than me - so hammer those books.
