RULES:

1) Contest is now CLOSED until the end of the 26 week Contest.

2) The Contest is 26 weeks long.  You MUST have a minimum of 20 picks at the end of the 6 month period.

***** (If you think you will enter and submit 5 picks and then quit, better off not joining the Contest) *****

3) Post ONE (1) pick per week.  A pushed bet will count as a tie, and no more bets will be allowed for the week.  The week begins Monday morning at 0000 hrs and ends Sunday night at 2359 hrs.

(You can submit an alternate pick when your 1st choice match is canceled)

4) Only FULL TIME totals and side bets are allowed, and only between -200 and +200.  Money Lines and Asian Handicaps only, No European Handicaps.

ex: Chelsea over 2.5 -150
ex: Chelsea ML -200
ex: Chelsea -1  +125
ex: Chelsea -.5, -1  +175

5) Picks must be submitted PRIOR to the start of the match. 

6) I am the Commissioner, and will rule on any issues on an individual basis.

chelsea, I had you correctly in the last weeks Contest thread as 5-3 +217, but in Post #16 I mentioned that although I had forgotten to highlight your name in orange, that you were at the minimum number of picks and could not miss a week until the end of the Contest.

There are only 11 more weeks in this Contest, and you will not be able to reach 20 picks.


We will be starting a new Contest January 1st.  I welcome recommendation to make the Contest more competitive, challenging, enjoyable and suitable to those who cant get into the Forum on a daily or weekly basis.

Oh I see .. Thanx bake ..I missed that part.. One pick is ideal how ever 2 picks should be allowed when there are mid week action that way we can have more games to select from but the rule should apply as 1 pick per competition , mid week CL or FA weekend EPL same with other leagues .. ;)

chelsea, I whole heartedly agree with you about multiple picks, especially if guys know there will be times they just cannot get onto Covers.  I need to figure out if I will have time to do all the grading necessary if we up the number of picks next Contest.
