Hey guys, I'm using the forum to track my World Cup plays, the reason for the thread & as the title suggests without sounding too arrogant is to help my fellow peeps who don't follow the day-to-day ongoings of the domestic soccer calender & the European scale along with other factors. Most like to bet the World Cup for fun, granted no one likes losing money at the expense.

Germany are playing the best football out of all teams, they have a solid defense and an amazing attack, Uruguay love playing in Brazil, Cavani for me will perform at this world cup and support Suarez.

RVP should get 2-4 goals in this group if you think about Australia he might get 4 against them! Few more I could easily see 6-7 goals in this WC for him, he had a terrible season but hes too good not to score vs Australia's & Chile's defense this is why I've gone big for top team scorer for Holland no one in that team can covert at RVPs rate.

Drmic is excellent value I'm a little concerned about lack of tournament experience but I don't see anyone in that Switzerland team to challenge him, do not like Ghana's chances good value to finish bottom, Korea are a very underrated side and should surprise a few people.

I think Nigeria could shock a few people taking a punt for them to reach the QF, for me Chile & Croatia won't progress just my opinion on the basis of foundation within there respective roster.

If Holland win the group they might face Mexico or Cameroon I fancy them for that with +250 for them to reach the QF I'll take that.

I'll go into more depth for these choices later, I hope I've got some idea how the tournament will fare with my selections, BOL.

I'm taking overs 1 unit for every opening game until I lose, every game seems open obviously I will lose some but I need some kind of idea how the teams look, world cup defense's this year suck so hoping to take advantage of that.

Mexico should score a few past this Cameroon team Hernandez might not play but from what I've heard this Peralta is a star, Holland is a value play I've gone big on them because of the revenge factor and being Spain's first game.

Half a unit on anytime goalscorers just for kicks, I like RVP at this world cup I think he will put his domestic troubles behind, Chile will stomp the aussies, unfortunately the men from down under are out of there depth...with the attacking pressure I expect a penalty and Vidal is the main guy, not bad for +200 against a mediocre defense (sorry aussie fans) again just to point out I am waiting for line ups to be confirmed, Vidal is a doubt but should start.

Analysis:-
Colombia have a similar style to Chile in which they like to keep the ball and break defense's down, even without Falcao they have incredible attacking power, there's only as much as Greece's backline could take this is why they should win tomorrow, Uruguay are the definition of what you call teamwork hardworking and do everything by the book, with or without Suarez Cavani should enjoy himself easy win.

Don't trust England, Pirlo scares me...Immobile & Balotelli scares me don't know who will win edging towards Italy take the pk might end draw but won't be surprised the sneaky Italians scraping it.

Japan look attractive BUT defense is awful, there going to get smashed tomorrow Ivory Coast will make sure of that, Drogba the target man Yaya might get one on a freekick Gervinho will have many chances, African team will cause huge waves of attack Japanese's fragile defense won't cope.

Analysis:-
Going for the under in the first game, it has under 3 goals written all over it, the Swiss like to contain the opposition being patience with there style, I think it will end in a draw maybe 1-1 Ecuador won't want to lose this one, I expect a solid performance from the South Americans in memory of Cristian Benitez RIP.

France barring Ribery may have been weakened but not in my view, they still possess incredible midfield players like Pogba, Valbeuna, Cabaye, Benzema is an clinical finisher, they will start the group strong should win by 2 goals at the least.

Rolling for the overs for the latter two because I just love too! Took over in the France game because I see 2-4 goals from them, took the over in the Argentina game because I see Bosnia scoring on the counter, Messi's team look vulnerable on set pieces and Bosnia have very good technical players Dzeko & Ibisevic are good in the air too maybe 2-2 or 2-1 to Argentina.

Analysis:-
Nigeria should wrap this match up with a win, Iran will try to slow things down men behind the ball with zero creativity, all in all Nigeria have the right blend offensively to win this match up.

Germany are a lot better than Portugal regardless what the line indicates, Ronaldo has fitness doubts...from goalkeeper to defense to attack Germans outnumber the Portuguese in terms of squad strength, Portugals defense will let a few goals in if the Germans turn up.

Have no idea which side has the edge in the last game of the day, both defenses are good Ghana have the better attacking line up...but the Americans know how important it is to get a result against the former quarter finalists so I expect them to be physical and nick one on the counter and grind out the draw, there has to be a draw here.

Ok so how badly is Algeria getting underrated here? They caused England some problems in there last World Cup, I mean they have a lot of experience in tournament play...Belgium are relatively newcomers to the fold.

Algeria have a good team, I expect the African side to restore some pride for the region with a good performance, Belgians will be nervous with the game opening up later on, taking the over with a little juice but just rolling with this one, good players good team need a good performance, +1.5 for a team like Algeria? Analysis:-
No point taking the ML for Holland horrible odds, although they will win easily. Over is too juiced, I like Holland to win by 2 or 3 goals nothing more, mainly because Australia will do an Iran and just slow things down..the quality should prevail, going with Sneijder this time mainly because Van Gaal should line up with 4 across the back instead of 5 with the sacrifice of a defender for a winger (probably Jermaine Lens) with this extra added dimension I see Sneijder having many chances..with the wingers supplying and Van Persie holding it down, Wesley loves feeding off scraps and the oz should give him plenty.

Don't like Spain in this situation, I have Chile to be eliminated as a future but I wish I didn't now, the body language of Spain looks worrying, Brazilians will want them out early and I see them packing there bags tomorrow, I really believe Chile will at least draw this game but I see them winning too, Spains might may be over time to replace the old guard me thinks, I like the under because both teams will keep it tight knocking the ball about having a feel for each other, Chile's goalkeeper Bravo is excellent and I think he'll rob Spain of a few good chances I see a 0-1 Chile win with Vidal scoring an 80-90min penalty, or like Sneijder feeding off the scraps given by Ramos & Pique hopefully.

Croatia! Croatia! Croatia! Take them and don't look back! Cameroon in a tough situation here...some of the players look dejected because of bonus issues etc, they were all over the place against Mexico, what they going to do with Rakitic & Modric dictating play? Mandzukic may start as its a must win game, he always bags a goal African side won't know how to deal with him, I think Rakitic gets into good positions aswell and takes penalties for Sevilla so hopefully we get a bit of luck. I have the over because I see 3-1 or 4-0 Croatia domination hence why I have -1.5 aswell they will win this game with control for the most part.

GL mate, I think Spain are entitled to one bad day at the office, Chile were hanging on against Australia at times so I think Spain will like this matchup.

My book has RVP at +800 to score anytime.  Seems like pretty good odds on this.  Am I missing something?  Interested to get you take as it almost seems too good to be true.

Nice points there mate, but heres what I think..."Out with the old, in with the new" I think Spain will struggle not beating Chile will be the end for this old guard, they need a revamp.
