It may not be a jinx smooth,but im sure it is somewhat of a distraction,and I think all of us gamblers are a little superstitious to begin with anyway.Do you by starting a thread about a persons streak,jinx them to lose,no of course not,but by starting the thread,the person with the streak starts reading everybodies advice on what team he should pick,how much he should hedge on his plays,its just a distraction from what the person should be concentrating on.And ya I know your gonna say"Well the person with the streak doesn't have to read the thread".But then what your doing is putting what you want to do,before whats good for the person with the streak,so your not actually supporting him,but your kinda hindering him.I just know if I had a streak like theirs going,i would be under enough pressure about any upcoming pick I was about to make,i wouldn't want or need any distraction from any outside source.I would know that there are covers people rooting and supporting me to advance,and there would unfortunately be covers people that didn't want to see me advance the streak,for whatever selfish reasons they had.Just like your saying that your jinxing them is not the reason a person has ended the streak,is true.You also gotta realize that your supporting them by starting a thread,is not in anyway helping them advance the streak,but may be hurting their chances of advancing the streak.

I don't think smooth is intentionally trying to jinx streakers. HOWEVER ...I equate what he does to everyone in a stadium knowing a guy has a no-hitter going and Smooth is "that guy" that says "hey, did you know have a no-hitter going ?"

You guys are waaaay over thinking this. I've been doing these threads for one reason and one reason only. That reason is to show support and give these Cappers the attention they deserve, nothing more nothing less. Say what you want but at the end of the day people want to be recognized for their great achievements. When you win 15 in a row, it's a great achievement. 17 in a row is outstanding and 21 in a row is epic. That's why they make the big bucks at 21 and 25 in a row. People talking about jinxes and other negative reasons for the thread are missing the entire point of why I run these threads.
One last point I've never had a single Capper that's being highlighted complain. The ones that comment actually thank me for supporting them. It's only others who seem to be of a negative mind set that complain about these threads and the funny thing is most of those people have never had a streak that would qualify to be highlighted.
