CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN how panamericana has picked games higher then -130 ?

I wonder if Covers is gonna eventually disallow that.

Sure would be nice for Covers to offer *all* the picks that are more doggy than -130... but I'm sure I'm the only one who has ask for that (in my case, when it was Wagerline)

He should get a "hoodie" and "hat" just for figuring out how to beat the system.  Very clever.  I highly doubt he did not know what he was doing but nonethelesss very good job finding an edge.  Any conclusion on this matter Rizz?  GL Pan

I've tried this trick out before to a certain extent. But I've never picked a game over -130 so that I didn't risk getting DQ'd. What he probably does is use different browsers or computers to open up all the games he's interested in, then checks the site again (or any betting odds) and goes with the biggest favorites. But you still have to applaud him getting 16 in a row because as you saw with the Yankees on Saturday, anything can happen in MLB. I doubt he will get to 17.

Yeah, it's obvious the system was gamed and there is a rule that will probably nullify this streak should it get to 17 or more.

We put in a fix in for this issue so it should not happen again.

Also, we will not be adjusting or voiding any streaks that have been continued to this date.

it's happened to me as well, although i didn't build a streak once I won this Phillies game.  like Rizz suggested I think it was just a kink in the system. 

gotta give Covers props for eating that mistake and letting the streak remain valid.

Panamericana     Now that you know all streaks remain untouched  Did you make your picks before they went over the -130 mark????   Or were you able to pick after it went over -130? 

I don't think anyone could do any better if theyh had -200 favorites to pick from.  You are on a great run.  Just curious.

I'm just more confused of what he possibly did now. I'm the one that originally noticed the whole thing in a previous thread I started. Surprised nobody else mentioned it. So, the streak stays? No second day picks were made? I don't think that the line would change for the pick (as it is posted) once you make you pick. So, if I pick the Red Sox at say -120 and it moves to -140 by game start time. My pick will always still say -120. If there was tampering then the streak should end period!

Don't you think if the people running this contest knew there was tampering they would end this?  What the fuck do you care anyway?  It's not taking money away from you,  me or anyone else on here.

Hey take it easy here on me! It's not about the money or winning with me and never has been in my life (probably why I don't have much but I'm still a very happy person without it).........it's about principle! Plus, you don't know that me or some other participant in here could win something with this! So, I do care and so do others.

This contest is free.  It offers prizes for free.  So this guy wins money if he gets lucky enough to hit 17,  21,  then 25.  You think if they thought he was getting over on them they would let it be?  So what if he wins money?  Contest doesn't end.  You still can win the money. 

All of you do realize those picks started under-130.  Who gives a fuck if they ended up over -130.  I would give any of you 21 picks at -200 and you wouldn't  come close to 21.

Hey...thanks for pointing out your first paragraph to me....I was clueless (seriously?). I can tell the way you operate based on how you "talk down" to others like they are children who don't think. Wow,  all have valid points and I again emphasize VALID.  Nobody get too hot under the collar.  My educated guess is homeboy did not make the calls before it went over 130.  He was smart and learned he could go with the "experts" on what lines went from under 130 to much higher/highest from 130 and then make a selection.  Props to Pan for beating the system and props to Covers for rewarding because 16 is a phenomonal streak regardless.  Dude is hot.  Hopefully he wins 23 and not 25 to keep that $100,000 grand open.  If he wins it, then props from me, not hatin'.  Happy weekend all.  Fight the New World Order and Bildebergs.  God Bless,  KK

I wasn't referring to you  (about your capping)  I'm talking about everyone including myself.  That given favorites as high as -200 would not make this thing much easier.  I just don't understand why anyone would get so bent out of shape over this guys streak.

Hey everyone,

After a lot of conversation between Lou and I, we decided that we can not award these wins to panamericana.  He cheated the system and looks as though he could have continued to do so if we did not fix the issue.

We will not be resetting his streak, but we will be voiding (marking as a push) those matchups which were not within the contest guidelines. 

We are sorry for any inconvenience, or if anyone disagrees with this, but we can not issue winning selections to a user who cheats our free contests.

Rules clearly state that any ML sport with a line greater than -130 will not be available for selection.
