It still shows hats and hoodies as prizes, but the text says gift cards? Wondering which it is...
Cards now. Believe me you are better off with the Amazon card. You can buy ANYTHING you want whereas the hats were declining in quality. I got one hoodie. It was OK but I'm a phat fork and it wasn't even close to being big enough.

New Covers hats logo looked better than the older Covers hats logo. Covers hoodie is nice. Once you start winning multiple of any prize they should give you something else as an prize. Except if you reach an streak of 17 or higher. Won an lot of hats over the years starting in summer or fall 2015. Won like ten hats, first one won and received in Aug 2015 I think. Only won one hoodie in July 2016. Won the money clip, multiple mugs, pretty much everything Covers has offered other than than cash prizes if not everything except cash prizes. My longest win streak was 13 in July 2016. Won an Amazon Card for 9 game winning streak last year. Covers has been an great website. Only thing they didn't payout when won was twice I placed in the ultimate race, think those races ended in February 2017 and February 2023 but they didn't ever payout the 30 dollar Covers expert credit either time which might of helped for Covers streak survivor and or the Covers leagues.

Respectfully disagree on hats. I've gotten six or seven (lost count) and the first three were a nice fabric and exuded quality. The last few had the cheezy white plastic mesh in the back. You are spot-on about the logo on the new ones. The actual hats though reminds me of the super cheap little league hats from my youth. Guess it comes down to personal preference. Point being....you could probably buy at least two and possibly three equal quality hats with the one Amazon card

Hey all,
We are bringing back hats, hoodies and T-Shirts to prizing this year, but most will be available as prizes through forum contests and events. I would expect contests and events giving away these items to start fairly soon, so be on the look out!
We are always open to ideas on how these are given away, and what type of contests or events you'd like to see so feel free to let us know.

I've won both a hat and a gift card from Streak Survivor. The hat I pretty much never wear anyway, but with the gift card, I decided to pay it forward by donating $20 (the equivalent of the gift card) to the foundation of the team that won me the gift card in the first place.

I have a contest idea that i'd like to see and suggest. The covers version of MLB beat the streak. It involves taking 1 or 2 players a day that you think will get 1+ hits in the game that they play in, if they do, your streak goes up by 1 or 2. Any time you choose a player that does not get a hit in the game, your streak goes back to 0. This could generate so much more interest on the covers website and I enjoy playing it on MLB.COM every season!
