Me make picks off others? Are you serial? I have never even looked at what others are picking, let alone use others picks. Most everyone here agrees that making a football pick 3 weeks away isnt the smartest thing in the world, wether or not they want to agree with me or not, and since you are new here, you probably have no idea what happened the last time someone won the big money. Well, I will tell you. They raised the amount of games needed to win directly after that. Who is to say they wont do that again? It was hard enough then, and is hard enough now, so I always root against anyone else but me. When you all buy a lottery ticket, do you hope someone else wins it? No, of course not. Then why should it be any different here?

im pretty sure he made that pick because hes more confident with college football and maybe NFL. so with that pick if he wins it the next thing coming is NFL season and he can avoid MLB and make only NCAAF and NFL picks

Did Covers change rules?

Don't you need to pick at least within (7) days before your last pick. The next possible game is Sept 1, which will automatically reset his picks to 0 for not picking a game PLAYED within this 7 day period.

From the website:
Will my current streak end if I don't make a pick?
Yes! You must make a selection on a game played within 7 days of your previous selection being determined a win, loss, tie or was cancelled. The deadline for your next pick will begin as soon as your current selection is graded or cancelled. Your streak will not end or change while your current selection is pending.

Does anyone else find it just the least bit strange that in second place with a 13 game win streak that pamboo, who's wins have come mostly from MLB did the same thing and took a college game three weeks away ( although not the same game )?

It is strange they both made picks a month into the future. My guess is they want their time in the spotlight to last longer. Doesn't matter they'll get knocked out before 25

It's a known-fact that there are a bunch of a-holes in the world. It's too bad that a number of them have found their way onto the message boards. I applaud the 2 entries on top of the board and wish them well. For all you negative phuks, have a great Labor Day weekend.

First off following rules set forth is the only real advantage to the player......a smart and disciplined gambler does not play daily and sometimes not weekly.....Kudos JB Miss State kicked there ass game never close way to go

Good luck JBX11!!    don't worry what people say to hurry up and do a pick... go at your own pace. 

my streak was a couple of years ago...and I saw the same thing on the forums.  I felt no pressure in rushing a pick. I picked what I thought was best for the day. Hitting a lot of games in a row isn't easy going slow or fast.   Best of luck!  cool

@SmoothD20   you not jinxing anyone posting up a thread on any Covers Streak.  I made it past 17 an_cheers  and still play Streak Survivor everyday bigsmile
