Cubs at Royals Over 9 (locked it in)
Going for a Win 8 here my brothers...
I smell a lot of crappy pitching and a lot of good hitting in this one.
We got 2 teams that are both 10 games back, and both are playing poorly.
Chen is coming off an injury and hasn't pitched since May 5th.. He may not even find the strike zone!
I like this a lot... SEE YA TOMORROW BROTHERS!

I think I have 1 more run in me on SFTC. I'm at W7 and the leader is frozen at 25. Some guy is closing in at 21. W7 is my high for the month which I have hit twice. My goal is to stay alive and make it through the weekend. If I make it through the weekend it will be my 1st time having a longshot at the leader since I've been playing the contest. But first things first. I have to deal with Friday.

Good luck, Housecloud! I hope you get numero ocho! I admire someone who is good at totals! Totals scare the hell out of me and I rarely, if ever, pick them. That said, overs are less scary to me because two teams that score a lot of runs can usually be counted on to continue the trend. Of course, there's always the chance that one or both of the pitchers inexplicably comes out and pitches like the second coming of Cy Young! As far as unders go, I hate them! It is a fine line to see an under to fruition. All it takes to blow up an under is one bad inning from a starter and you are done! Also, unders require the bullpen to come out and hold it down, as well. I am a lifetime 50% totals picker, so for me personally, I do not like those odds! In summation, totals are fine for others, just not for me. LoL. I'm sure Quad shares my views on totals. LoL. Let's Ride!

Florida Marlins are home team for series with Seattle this week, even though series is at Safeco Field. Marlins will bat last, there isn't a DH in series. Marlins' ballpark isn't available this weekend.
AL teams are 66-60 vs NL teams so far in interleague play, but 10-22 the last three nights.

dont worry about the 25 win entry hes a kid who is disqualified for being a minor.....as of Jan 1st they took out the provision for minors to be eligible.

I went with the Tampa Bay Rays for Win #8. I made the pick for all of the obvious reasons ( see hand Smart Chart), but I really hate to go against Wandy Rodriguez. With both Shields and Rodriguez dealing, I expect a close game. It might come down to defense. In this category, the Rays have a huge advantage. Only Oakland (61) has committed more errors than Houston (60). Tampa Bay
has made 35 errors, second lowest through Wednesday’s games behind
Philadelphia (33). This is crucial in a close game. With all of that said, I expect to lose. My luck feels like it is fading away. Tampa Bay Rays -130
