Tough break yesterday on my SFTC streak. The Reds were down 9-3 before mounting a nice comeback. They made it 9-8 going into the 9th. Some kid I never heard of comes in to relief. Walks a couple of guys, then throws a wild pitch with the bases loaded. 10-8 Mets. So wouldn't you know that in the bottom of the 9th Joey Votto goes deep Final score 10-9 Mets. If the kid hadn't thrown the wild pitch there's no telling what could have happened. But alas my last minute rush ends at 7. But just like Booyahz I have led the ground work for a great August. That site https://streakbeasts.com/ is really helping me on European Soccer so props to them. Check those guys out. They are good.

Edwin Jackson makes his St. Louis debut!
Matt Garza has been shaky on the road. His numbers at Wrigley are actually quite nice, but this is at Busch. Good luck, all.

WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS -3 = WIN 3! Congrats to the Bombers for their gutsy performance in the wake of a tragedy. Way to get it done in Coach Harris' honor!

Thanks for posting this Bama. I noticed your Avatar but I didn't know who Richard Harris was besides the fact I have an Uncle named Richard Harris. I took some time to look at the link you posted. He seemed like a fine man with a lot of people saying good things about him. It's always sad when someone dies before their time and he leaves behind a wife and a beautiful daughter. Was this a sudden death or was he already ill?

No problem at all, Smooth. I had been following the story and was emotionally moved by the outpouring of support for a great man. I wanted others to learn about him and mark his passing.
                   As far as I know, he was healthy. His passing was sudden and unexpected. He was one of those great football guys who so inspired his players that they would walk through fire to win games for him. Coach Harris will be remembered always by family, friends, players, coaches and fans alike. God must have needed a defensive line coach up there!

Taken that "trap" game in the WNBA SEA Storm +8. Im sold on those choke artist Lynx every since they crap the bed at HOME vs PHX a little while back. They DON'T call the Storm the elite fa nuthin. BOL everyone!   Oh yeah fa August soccer tip sites check these out they help tremendously.

Eh! As soon  as Mardy Fish finishes mopping the court with Kunitsyn, I have decided to roll the dice with Colmenter and the Diamondbacks at the Ravine. Ted Lilly should sue for lack of run support, but if he won I am not sure where the money would be coming from to pay him!

I changed my mind and am now sheeping it up with Tampa. Niemann owns Seattle. Bedard is fresh off of the DL and will be on a strict pitch count. Also, I am not forgetting that the M's are still the same guys who just lost 17 games in a row! It's TB for me.

I'm living in 2 worlds. I'm hot on SFTC only a wild pitch in the 9th inning has prevented me from being in double digits right now. I'm cold as Fairbanks, Alaska on Covers. I'm losing games by razor thin margins. Examples Todays pick Tex Loser Tor 3-Tex 2/ Thur- Pick AZ-SD Under 6.5 Loser Total 7 / Wed-Pick  SD Loser AZ 4 SD 3/ Mon-Pick Cin Loser Mets 4 Cin 2. Thats the way its been for me on Survivor this week. Tantalizing loses. I'm being punished by the Streak Gods for having the audacity to proclaim that I was going on a epic Streak.  Ok Streak Gods I get the message. I'm not going on a Epic Streak. I will be banished to the seas of mediocrity. Never to be so bold as to proclaim an epic streak on Survivor again. Please end this punishment.

Thanks Bama for sharing this great man's story with us. Even though I didn't know him I can tell he was a loved man and a good man. RIP Richard Harris we know you're in a better world. Like my good friend Bama said God must have needed a Defensive Coach because he called you home suddenly. Be well and God bless.

Smooth I like that you brought up the positive of an otherwise tragic loss. It's not easy for me to bring stuff up like this when tragic stuff occurs.

Wow no posts in over 12 hours! I'm screwed I took the Rangers -115 and now I find out that their is no Josh Hamilton or Nelson Cruz in their lineup. I wanted to take the Rockies/Padres Over 6 but I'm  locked into this. I bet the Rockies/Padres go Over and the Rangers lose. I am a horrible capper. Why does my luck so bad?
