My sport has always been football and I always have a winning season money wise in football....even though some weeks are brutal (lol)

 remember if you play the inning props they are 50/50 when it comes to trends or angles.....so if you dont have the time to watch the game and pick before it locks then pass

I agree with you.  I have definitely been extremely frustrated with that as well and lost interest for the day, or a couple of days.  It is a very frustrating thing when it is easy for them to just call it a push.   They score the games that are played within minutes of the conclusion.

I KNOW ITS PRE-SEASON, BUT YALL OUGHTA TAKE A LOOK AT AS WELL.

BRUNELL IS HURT, SANCHEZ WONT PLAY MORE THAN A QUARTER, SEVERAL OTHERS WONT TRAVEL.

I KNOW THE SAME GOES FOR THE TEXANS, BUT HEY, WE GOT LEINHART TO PLAY FOR THE REST OF THE GAME

So you want me to bet on matt leinart, wade phillips, and the 32nd ranked defenses 1st unit?  I root for the texans as long as they don't face my patriots, but 1) its preseason, and 2) the players listed above.  Plus the jets do have some good players on there depth chart that are going to get to play.

LOOK BRO,,, you coulda stuck your opinion out there without that whole first sentence, I said i know its preseason, and i suggested LOOKING into it, not picking or betting, but just looking into it. Talk about my Rockets or my Astros, but not my TEXANS. me and the Yankees or the Braves dont click, but i know those are my fellow 25 dimers teams...i will never say nothing negative about them in this forum.NEVER. besides, when they say take a look at em, i do, and if i like, THEN i pick, it usually ends on a good note. If you werent being a smart as$, then my apologies to you before hand, but to me,,,So you want me to bet on matt leinart, wade phillips, and the 32nd ranked defenses 1st unit? ....that sounds a bit in that direction....bottom line, if your team is the 1990 patriots, im not gonna sit here and criticize there 1-15 record. Glad we can get past that,,,,LOL,,,for better or for worse..were all here for the same reason,,,,to get that paper...I expect us(texans) to make it places this year,,i also expect to play yall in the AFC championship game...but hey,,its a whole new season,,well season,,good luck to you on which ever side you're on tomorrow...

There is no doubt that in the 25 Dime Club we have some passionate members rooting for their own teams, myself included. Thats what I love about this Club. We're real people man. This is good stuff. We all love to bet and play the streaks but we're very protective of our favorite teams. With the exception of Booyahz who was willing to throw the Yankees under the bus for Tampa but he has learned his lesson so it's all good. Hey Booyahz I love you man but you know I'm gonna rib you about that one for awhile. It's all in fun.

Well I don't have a really set strategy so far...its too early on this site for that, but I have been on another one for over a year...what I've learned is just stick with what you know, and don't take any pick for granted unless you're at zero.

Also, it's mostly numbers but it's certainly not all numbers...use your 6th sense or whatever and smell the fish when they're around...there were 2 times in my short 8 game streak where I looked at the expert picks...I didn't listen and they were WRONG both times.

You dont need a set strategy to share thoughts and opinions......I try to come up with different plays. angles or trends . I dont always trust the ones covers gives so freely.....lol....

These are the rules to follow:
1. Handicap preseason far differently than regular season
2. Beware of coaches that do not care
3. Look for coaches who want to win
4. look for teams that want to blitz often
5. follow the qb rotations

When I look at the Texans QB rotation of 3 QB's, Im thinking Schaub plays the whole first half like Grossman did for the Redskins.

I dont see Sanchez playing much and with the backups they have they need him

The Jets pride themselves on physical play and defense .....will they blitz or just play physical?

Once I see what sportsparlor puts  up I will decide what I like for sure

Leaning toward HOU because non playoff teams feel more of a need to instill a winning atmosphere going into the season.....while veteran teams can take a different approach.....

I do think this could be a boring 2nd half with plenty of half back dives

I love it! These two guys just going at each other like it's the Super Bowl! JK. Emotion is good for the board. As long as we respect each other's teams and opinions, then anything goes. I really fee thatl EG and Krams will get along just fine. I just hope it doesn't get too intense when/ if the Texans and Pats collide.

Man, Smooth! You are never going to let Booyahz live that one down, are you? Good stuff, broseph. I think he finds it as amusing as we do. I hope.

My dog of the day this month is based on highest dog on sportsparlor

Since I have started looking at them I noticed these dogs are 5-4 SU and 7-2 ATS  with the 2 ATS losses being ML favorites  of -190 or higher

Today the dog of the day was SEATTLE over BOS.....and SEA  won

Theses are the ones I have noticed

parlays and straight bets .......My season is about to kick off

Last year me and a friend put a beating on the bookie....most others did not.....he even offered to take basketball bets and other crap .....an effort to get his money back from us....
