Well, wouldn't you know it? The Bad Zach Duke showed up again. I can't believe I fooled myself into thinking the guy was suddenly going to be an ace in his seventh season. His body of work over the last six years should have been reason enough to avoid this game! I have said it before and I'll say it again; your first impulse is usually right and in this case my first instinct was to pick Seattle.

You crack me up when you go on these multiple post rants, Quad! When you get on a roll, you just keep it going until my ribs hurt from laughing so hard! I like to see you win, but it sure is funny to see your posts when you lose. You are so much better than you give yourself credit for; you just seem to end up on the wrong side of the most historic moments in sports. You make the right calls, but then the unthinkable happens. I agree with Smooth when he says you are a great capper and I, too, believe that you will be on a long winning streak very soon. Never quit and never change!

I am going with Rickie weeks for W8 on BTS and Albert Pujols for W7 on BHS. I also have Pujols on Home Run BTS. I can't seem to get past W1 on HRBTS, though. It's tough to predict when and where the homers will fly. GL to all who play those games.

It's official now. I am locked in on Texas with Quad's pick. The Texas offense has been fairly consistent lately with Cruz and Hamilton back in the lineup. The two main reasons that I like this pick can be found in today's MLB Write-Up and are as follows: 1.) -- Ogando is 5-0, 2.33 in ten starts this season. 2.) -- Masterson is 0-3, 5.19 in his last four starts. The only thing that disturbs me is the direction and frequency of the line movement. When I first saw the line it was Texas -119 and it has since dropped to just -104. To get back on a fast horse:                           TEXAS RANGERS -104   BOLA!     

Also notable is the fact that the Rangers have won eight of their last 11 games and , conversely, the Indians have lost six of their last nine games, including the last three in row at home.

Texas is off to a good start up 1-0!

If you see a low total (7 or lower) sometimes it's best to go with the Over since you can get burned very easily on the Under and it's a lot less embarrassing to lose on the Over then the Underof a low total (like Under 6 result 13 runs).
