Agreed. I hope Zach Duke pitches at home like he did in his debut against Houston on the road! Also, the Nationals have a tendency to struggle on the road, winning just 29 of their last 94 as visitors. BOLA! ARIZONA -123
Well, wouldn't you know it? The Bad Zach Duke showed up again. I can't believe I fooled myself into thinking the guy was suddenly going to be an ace in his seventh season. His body of work over the last six years should have been reason enough to avoid this game! I have said it before and I'll say it again; your first impulse is usually right and in this case my first instinct was to pick Seattle.

I'll be on the Mavs the rest of the series. If I had taken the Mariners they'd be losing but no the choice I make sucks. I swear I should quit this game.
You crack me up when you go on these multiple post rants, Quad! When you get on a roll, you just keep it going until my ribs hurt from laughing so hard! I like to see you win, but it sure is funny to see your posts when you lose. You are so much better than you give yourself credit for; you just seem to end up on the wrong side of the most historic moments in sports. You make the right calls, but then the unthinkable happens. I agree with Smooth when he says you are a great capper and I, too, believe that you will be on a long winning streak very soon. Never quit and never change!

Whats up smooth, just popping in. Had 3 in a row 1st day on espn streak and then the heat killed it, figures 75% on heat.
keep getting 3-4 on here and then lose, gotta make some sharper picks. GL man!
Good to hear from you Plisskin! Good luck to you on your SFTC streak. They are off and running over there. The leader is at 10 already but not to worry those jack rabbits in the beginning of the month never win.

They didn't renew it. I'm happy because that top prize was horrible. All Star game tickets. Are you kidding me? You already know how hard it is to pick winners and thats all you get are tickets. I love baseball but if i'm picking winners I want more than tickets.

I agree with you Bama. Quad is definitely the life of the party when he goes on these rants. Hey I like the new Avatar. I like the women with that rough edge to them. You never know what you're gonna get.

@ SmoothD -No doubt. Quad keeps us in stitches around here! Thanks for the compliment on my new avatar. She has that mysterious edge that I like, as well. You hit that TB/ Seattle total out of the park yesterday, bro! It had under written all over it, but you went inside the numbers and came up with the right angle. That was a great hunch that paid off. Keep up the good work and good luck, bud!

I am going with Rickie weeks for W8 on BTS and Albert Pujols for W7 on BHS. I also have Pujols on Home Run BTS. I can't seem to get past W1 on HRBTS, though. It's tough to predict when and where the homers will fly.GL to all who play those games.

It's official now. I am locked in on Texas with Quad's pick. The Texas offense has been fairly consistent lately with Cruz and Hamilton back in the lineup. The two main reasons that I like this pick can be found in today's MLB Write-Up and are as follows: 1.) -- Ogando is 5-0, 2.33 in ten starts this season. 2.) -- Masterson is 0-3, 5.19 in his last four starts. The only thing that disturbs me is the direction and frequency of the line movement. When I first saw the line it was Texas -119 and it has since dropped to just -104. To get back on a fast horse: TEXAS RANGERS -104 BOLA!

Also notable is the fact that the Rangers have won eight of their last 11 games and , conversely, the Indians have lost six of their last nine games, including the last three in row at home.

Good luck on your picks, I'm going with Pujols for W14 on BTS/BHS and I've paused my HRBTS with Matt Holliday.

If you see a low total (7 or lower) sometimes it's best to go with the Over since you can get burned very easily on the Under and it's a lot less embarrassing to lose on the Over then the Underof a low total (like Under 6 result 13 runs).

Boo-ya! Pujols delivers! You are on a roll! Pujols got me to W7 on BHS and got me to 1 on Home Run BTS! On a down note, Rickie Weeks killed my BTS streak at W7, so it's time to start again on that one. Keep it going, bro! Good luck!

Man! That was a tough loss, Adchen. I actually watched the last part of the game and everything was looking good for the under until Chipper's solo blast. Then Niese left the game and the bullpen got crushed. This game can make you crazy, but we 25 Dimers just get back on that horse and ride like there's no tomorrow. We have a money train to catch! Here's to better luck tomorrow, man!
