WEEK 7 I'm rollin with CHARGERS -1.5. This game opened at +2 chargers here in vegas and by dinnertime monday nite it was jets -2. Now today it's back at -1 chargers, but I believe this spread movement is more of a middling attempt by the sharps. I liked it from the get go and was hoping for plus points on the sheet, but it was -1.5, I can live with that.
As for the game, chargers will be full strength and rested will jets are on a short week and they got their shitty win vs fins, were they prolly shoulda lost and now their facing a real team. Fat ryan is running his mouth again and LT is starting.ha. He hasn't done shit all year and now your starting him? Seems like desperation to me to get the shitty jets run game going. Jets have beat bad teams and shoulda lost to dallas also, they lost to 3 good teams and here comes another one. Look for mathews to run big in this game and that'll open up gates and company.
I'm from ny also and just don't like what I see from the jets all year.Sanchez isn't right and has no chemistry with his recievers and all that team ever does is run it's mouth all the time. The game will probably come down to turnovers, san diego needs to play a clean game and their D needs to step it up a little more. Chargers have the size advantage with the recievers and running the ball.
Chodaz, Yes, sharps don't always win. I follow all the steam plays on pregame and jets aren't even on there. Bears, Over bears and denver were only nfl plays so far that were steamed. College today they only went 11-10 ATS on steam plays as of fri nites list.
Some popular plays like navy and rice lost and boise st was on list too.
Pick looked good into the 3rd qtr and then one bad pass bounced off reciever and into revis hands. I knew it was over there as jets d was playing better. 12 penalties on diego d didn't help, pretty undisiplined.
Both teams had thier hi's and low'a thru the game, but diego's came at the worst time. I'll try it again next year, was fun!
Chodaz, yeah the D is way undisciplined. Rivers looked uncomfortable as some on espn said and looking back now at the game I agree, he was hesitant and had happy feet somewhat.
My other 2 picks I was looking at were pitt and falcons. I was so close to taking pitt. Chargers have screwed me now 4 times in contests here in vegas. WEEK 2 I had them and pats and shoulda covered but gave up late td. Last year in week 1 they lost at KC and also week 13 last year I had one loss SU contest, you guessed it they lost to raiders at home.
I even almost went saturday to change my pick to pitt, but didn't. Shoulda learned my lesson already with SD, fuckin bums.
