Hey Eagle, english is my second language and I was lazy to think and write in english, but I watching this topic since day one..Good job
You said, you don't remember lose 7 games in row,but you also don't remember win 7 in row.. So why you don't bank 1000$ and split that 2000$ and bet on both sides?Bank after you double on one or other side and start with 1000$ again. If that 7in row happen, and that can happen anytime, you will lose just one half of bankroll. I got my 2000$ ready on pinnacle,so let's play! Best of luck

I think Im gona go with my original plan. Bank $2000 and start over again with $1000. From this point forward, unless I see an overwhelmingly good idea, the winnings will be split between the bank and the active bankroll.
Level 1 play on DBacks $4.05 to win $3.35

It sure is hard to make bets so small after the large ones we have had to do lately. That is why money management is so hard to master. So dont laugh at the small amounts. As long as we win, they take care of themselves quite nicely!

I might be too late to opine, as I have just now been able to log in today, but I think the one idea has merit, of banking your original $1000, and start 2 seperate chases with 1k each, but both using the grand martingale. unless you plan to win every play, the history of your betting thus far has proven that the grand martingale is more profitable, with the higher profit coming in the longer chases. Surely there are times when you have more than 1 play that you want to make. If not, then I would do what you have decided, and bank 2k and start over.

I checked back and it's true, you haven't gone on a streak of 7 either way (good or bad). So if you split your profits (2000) into two (1000 each) and play both sides of each game, you will be up significantly more.
Every time you get one wrong on one of them, you get it right on the other side, clearing the marty. It would be profit every loss! as long as it doesn't make it to 7.
With the average capper hovering around 50%, this makes perfect sense!

Wow, Lin's idea is actually REALLY good.

Im not satisfied with how I have decided to play this. I like the idea of 2 separate chases. I will split the total bank and run 2 chases using the same methods already in place. There are always multiple plays that are worth playing. I dont want to run an opposites chase because, believe it or not, I feel like the methods I use will produce 7 winners in a row before 7 losers. Probably not in baseball because most of the plays are on dogs, but certainly on pointspreads.

Not banking any of it? I guess the chances of getting two losing streaks of 7 is even crazier though... so it's not too bad.
And I admire your system/plays, but you haven't got 7 right yet... and besides, you could start picking crazy dogs at 5, 6, and 7.... so that you for sure lose :P
Basically, the way I see it... anytime you lose on one set, you're clearing the other, making the profit. I should honestly backtrack all your plays so I could show you how profitable it would have been/can be.

Thats true DJ. Your way would be a good idea, especially for baseball, but I just have a lot of confidence in my methods not to lose 7. Now, I may regret not listening in the long run. I think 2 chases stand a chance to profit more though. Besides, there always seems to be another game during the same time period that I have to pass up because I can only play 1 at a time. Lets see how it goes.

I see Ace-Ace is on a 3-game losing streak and has the Rangers -1.5 tonight. I'm thinking this might be a good time to jump on board with him as he should hit in the next game or 2. Do you think that is a good strategy?
I have the Lakers +165 for tonight's game, and hoping they get out to an early lead so can Live Bet the Celtics for +money for a guaranteed profit. I know you do some Live Wagering as well, anything special which is working out real good for you?

Hey Kreature. Yeah, i think it would be an excellent plan to follow Ace after 3 losses in a row. I very seldom ever look at Ace's thread, but in the past you would never know when the next pick was coming, so keep a close watch because some days could go by. For the live wagering, I dont do much of it anymore due to lack of time to watch games. When I do live wager I just wait for special situations. Typically it will be when a heavy favorite or quality team falls behind early. Teams like the Yanks for instance can be -250. They can be losing 3-0 after 3 innings, for example, and you can get +odds and a 3-0 deficit for the Yanks is nothing. I learned my lesson in the past about live wagering. It can crush you, I have been crushed. Because of this, I am very selective with my picks and only like playing on quality teams that know how to win.
