I can understand your frustration with the NBA,but I would be reticent to bet against the Lakers at this time.Everything is going right for that team and they are now in the midst of a 7 game win streak. But then again its hard to see the Lakers getting any points in the immediate future so sooner or later one of the dogs will cover.

Magic -9 [-103] 1% -83.96 to win 81.51 Grizzlies -5 [-104] 1% -83.96 to win 80.73 Warriors [+100] 1% -83.96 to win 83.96
Sporting Lisbon -1 [-102] 2% -167.92 to win 164.63 .
Big surprise with that Sporting Lisbon game... I stopped watching at half and thought it was in the bag. They really looked in control; I'm surprised going a man down hurt them so much. Also, the first time ever I use a 1% bet is the day I go positive for basketball, go figure.

Wanted to add an update to some soccer draw information:
Top Leagues for draws that I have tracked and narrowed with the O/U 2 - spread pk - 0.5 and O/U 2-2.5 - spread - pk are:
Austrailia - A, France - National (TOP), Italy-Serie B and Portugal-Super Liga. There are some other ones too that have contributed strongly. These have gained about $3300 (approx)- 2 months
Ones that look like they should be avoided on the draw with the above criteria are: USA - anything, Romania, Greece Super League and Czech - Gambrinus - These have lost $2300 (approx) - 2 months

And thanks aerojackel... for the kind words and the interesting stats regarding draws. As for challenges, I think I might have another "head to head" planned for the next challenge but I still haven't decided for sure. As you mentioned, still a ways to go with this one.

Ya, haven't updated it since that one time... Soccer must still be in the lead with hockey a close second. Baseball/NFL football were the worst. If I get that bored again, I'll update it. GL brother!

I don't know about disastrous... In fact, I'm displeased with the split; thought we were in position to profit. Inter was controlling that game and got a goal late only to put it in cruise control and fall asleep at the wheel with an unlucky break. West Ham/West Brom played exactly the type of game I thought they would, though I was expecting less goals. AC Milan kept us on the edge of our seats but ultimately showed why they are the top of the table. Liverpool had momentum going into this game but looked like the lazy Liverpool of old. This was the only "disastrous" bet if any of them were.
If losing 1.89% of the bankroll is disastrous, call me a disaster every other day!

Things definitely took a turn for the good in the final 20 minutes of the games DJ. AC Milan was tied 1-1 (pulled out a 3-1 win late, we'll take it!), Inter was tied 0-0 (ended 1-1, loss), Liverpool was tied 1-1 (ended 1-1, loss) and West Brom was down 2-1 (ended 2-2, 1/2 refund, 1/2 win)..
The disaster at the time I posted was a Milan loss, an Inter loss, a Liverpool loss, an a West Brom 50% win. Like I had hoped for, a strong finish for once, finally happened, an we got a Milan win to go with the Brom half win. Getting that half win instead of a complete loss makes a big difference.
In the end tho, it was still a losing day for soccer, which has been the norm for the week. Bummer, but life goes on, and tomorrow is a new rebound.
I'm happy to see the Bruins, Wizards, an Mavs hit tho, as I liked them too. You're almost over the 4K hump, the finish line is in sight!
Keep up the solid cappin'

1. I guess that's why we bet on the whole games and not just the first 70 minutes.
2. If you take away today's losing result, I'm UP in soccer for the week (using Monday as the start of the week). If you consider a week as simply the last 7 days then even including today, I'm UP.
3. See you at the finish line.
