Jake, a lab line is simple, you just have to have discipline.
Start with 5-5-5
Make your first bet to win 10 no matter what you have to lay.
If you lay 17 to win 10 and lose simply stick your loss at the end of the line and your next bet is to win the two outside numbers
5-5-5-17
Your next bet is to win 22 no matter what you have to lay. When you win a bet you cross off the outside two numbers and bet to win the next two outside numbers. You win the bet you made to cover the 22 your line changes to this.
5-5 Bet to win 10 to clear the line. When you clear the lines start a new one. Do not deviate from the betting pattern as the whole key to a lab line is that you clear 2 numbers when you win and only add one number when you lose. Even at less than 50% accuracy you clear lines.
I do the same thing using 3 lines. One for the a, b, and c bets. If I lose a bet instead of putting the whole amount on the first line, I put half on that line and drop half to my next line. So in kirby's example after a 17 loss, my lines would be:
5-5-5-8.5
5-5-5-8.5
5-5-5
If you want to be VERY aggressive and clear lines faster you can just add the amount to the last number as opposed to adding a new number at the end:
5-5-13.5
5-5-13.5
5-5-5
Obviously this can ramp op the amount you are making on your wagers rather quickly so you need a larger bankroll but will also clear more quickly allowing you to up your units. Hope this and kirby's examples are happy. I learned the hard way by not using this when I first started.

Depends how aggressive you want to be. You can play them all at the outside numbers which will be a larger wager most of the time and will bring more into your lines if you lose, or you can play more conservative and try to play a couple combinations. For example playing the game you feel the best about at 5-8.5 - 13.50 to try to clear those number and the rest at 5-5 = 10. Can be a big deal if you lose all your bets on a day in that you are bringing a lot of money into the lines you need to clear... Of course this is also how you clear those lines and get your profit back more quickly. It is pretty flexible but your goal is to clear lines... There is nothing wrong with trying to clear the second line on an a game or moving numbers from your bottom two lines up if you clear line A,etc.

i have to ask this follow up question:
if the remaining 2 games in the series are -180 each then
2nd game
if the first bet loses then the line will change to 5 - 5- 5-17 the next bet would be to win 22, so would lay 39.60
if this bet wins, then the bet for the next series is to win 10 and it starts all over if you lose?
3rd game
With the loss the line should be 5-5-5-17-39.60
here is where i need help understanding
so is it correct to say the last bet would be to win 44.60, which means to lay 81. now if this wins then does the next bet in a new series starting out with is to win 22 or 17 plus 5? 5-5-5-17
If this is the case it would seem very hard to close out the line since you would have to get on a roll of winning two bets in a row.
if this was not done, then the number to the right would continue to increase and increase until you hit some limit.

In your example, if you won the 81 dollar bet you would cross off the first 5 and 39.60 leaving you
x-5-5-17-x, so you would bet to win 22 the next play. It does work out over time. you only have to win about 40% to break even as you are crossing out two numbers per win. If you go on a losing streak you can find yourself making large wagers rather quickly just like like in a regular chase, but when the tide turns you will be reclaiming your losses and making profit much more quickly. If you want to distribute it more through the different games in a series then run the 3 line.

Thats how its going, one day we make 4, next day we lose 2...as long as the season will be profitable everything is good...toay we would have to bet PIT and OAK again, but to be honest, with the SP I wont play them today...I will keep them for the record of the system but I would like to point out that I am NOT going to play them for real money today.
After todays plays I will set up the new tiers and bring them in here so that as of tomorrow, they will guide the way.
Good luck everyone, maybe I am just going to play a nice parlay today...we will see...

C'mon man, a system is a system -- once you start subjectively making or not making picks, then you're BREAKING the system. I realize that you said you'd keep track of the games anyway, but by not betting real money, you're not showing faith in the system -- so why should followers have faith? I'm not trying to bring you down, brother, I'm just saying.
You never know what's going to happen in baseball -- I realize that PIT got walloped today (20-0 lol), but the A's are up 3-0 on the Yankees. Yea, it's only the 3rd inning, but what I'm saying is, you just never know -- as long as you hit 1 of those 2 games, you're making money.
I'm greatly appreciative of everything you've opened my eyes to with your system and all (not that I have real money to play with, but I enjoy following systems), but have more faith in your system, bro

A system is a system, but I think the writing was on the wall with PIT. Today was their worst pitching matchup of the series. Their best was last night and they still got hammered.

What is the deal with how the Brewers totally own the Pirates? Now they are sweeping them on the road. How long is the streak of losses for PIT in MIL, like 2 or 3 years worth?

I used the covers lines for yesterdays games which were for 2 UNITS both. I am going to set up the new tiers now and will post them in here so that we wont have any misunderstandings about the tiers...I am going to update them on those days when a new series starts since they are only important on those days...

Please note that the bottom of tier 1 and the top of tier 2 are having the same record...we will have to look at todays matchups to figure out wether its a play or not...I will check the games now...

Talking about the money management changes now...since I heard a couple of people got banned from here b/c they posted their detailed plays I will keep the money management neutral and just talk about units, with the Labby lines your goal is to win the amount of the outer numbers (when playing favs) or bet this amount (when playing dogs).
The lines will look like this:
Line 1 0,5 0,5 0,5 0,5
Line 2 0,5 0,5 0,5 0,5
Line 3 0,5 0,5 0,5 0,5
For todays picks I will use line 1 and I will bet them each for 1 UNIT (0,5+0,5). For questions about this please check the link made by rizz(I think) on the first page. There it is explained very accurate.
As I have stated before, I wont update this through the weekend because I will spend the time with my family. If you dont feel comfortable with the labby feel free and use my old 1,2 and 4 UNIT way, it works as well...and by now everyone should know when to use which amount...

Call82 and the rest of you guys using this system, I wish you the best from here on out. I'm breaking away to do my own variation. It will be based on a series by series basis rather than 3 tiers. Even though the records at this point indicate where teams fit into the tiers and I do realize that you have to have perameters to go by, Im not confident in the way the tiers are set up right now. For instance TOR, SD, OAK, FLA, and SEA in Tier 1. While they have played well and their records are good, there is no way they are better than LAA, SF, DET, LAD, and BOS. There are several other examples in the next 2 tiers. I really appreciate what Call82 has done here. I think he has a magnificent system here that sticking with will make you guys lots of dough. I also think he has set the precident for something even better,, which is what I will try. Im gonna branch off into my own thread with something very similar, a hybrid of what Call82 has done. It will have the exact same principles combined with my knowledge of the teams. Call has a wonderful proven system here, so I dont advise people to stray from it to mine because mine is obviously new and not proven. If anyone is going to follow me, dont do it without learning the 3 line modified labby. Thats what I will use. My system will prolly have more plays, so therefore more losses. So, DO NOT Martingale it!!!! Once again, thanks Call for this concept. My venture would not be possible without you!
