That is the short recap of the weekend, I can see you guys have kept it all rolling...I hope you used the runlines here and there as well, they all payed off...todays picks will follow later, hope y´all had a great weekend
And one more thing: Did anyone see the 3 mariners games? unbelieveable: first game, they leave runners in scoring positions in both extra innings with 1 and 2 out respectively...and in game 3, they get the tie in the top of the 9th...I was going crazy....

Todays picks just arrived:
One thing before I post my picks: Please dont get confues with my UNIT-sizes, as I have cleared some lines I raised my UNIT-size but will post it here with the basic size, I will just raise the amount of units...hope that makes sense...
PHI +118; Risking 1.466 UNITS to win 1,731 UNITS
SD +146; Risking 1.466 UNITS to win 2,141 UNITS
NYY RL -148(!!!!!!!!!!); Risking 2,171 UNITS to win 1.466 UNITS
MIN -129; Risking 1,892 UNITS to win 1,466 UNITS
CWS RL +127; Risking 1.466 UNITS to win 1,862 UNITS
I didnt pick OAK as TEX is tied with WAS and FLA for a tier 1 spot...although I think they will win...
Anyway, good kuck everyone, lets get another profitable week....
By the way, the way the last week went is something I have seen very often during the last season...you have a couple of days where you make/lose small amounts and then you have 1 or 2 days where you win big time...you very seldon lose big time...With me raising the stakes using labby and still posting in the base unit size I really think we should get a season with AT THE VERY LEAST 100 UNITS....to be honest, I think we should be more in the range of 150....lets see how things are going, the first month was nice with ~27 UNITS....

Hey C82, have read most of this post and am very impressed! Thanks for all of your hard work. And thanks to all of the contributors for your thoughts and insights. I will be working my way into this system slowly, since I don't want to be caught on a potentially bad day (not skeptical, just cautious).
Anyway, one more question of the many that you've already answered. Since pitching is a big part of baseball, have you considered filtering out the top 5 or 10 pitchers and/or the worst 5 or 10 to see how that would affect the outcome? I couldn't find the stats for road wins for pitchers for last year, but Greinke and Verlander come to mind as good pitchers. Not sure who the worst would have been. Just a thought.
And I totally agree with you on the RL for games with ML's of -175 or above. I've always subscribed to one of the gambling rules of not laying -200+ money.
Keep up the good work and thanks again for your plays!!!

Seaotter,
first of all thanks for the kind words...yes, I have been thinking about using a filter based on the starting pitchers but the backtesting showed me one thing: This system lives of playing many series, therfor using too many filters makes it hard to get enough plays...plus, chasing a series wont allow you to skip single games of the series...at least I dont wanna try this...my tier-system is the only filter I use, therfore I will leave it like this...and to be honest, after 2.5 years of backtesting and adjustments I am pretty tired of looking for other variables to change...the way it is it makes me some good and I will just let it roll...
Have a good season
