pokerpro, that's actually the improper way to use the Labourchere if you're using it for a 2 or 3 game chase.  PSIC did research and back tested up to 5 years worth of data, and they came up with this:

    https://platinumsportsinvesting.com/labourchere.aspx

Go down to the 6/18/09 update, as well as the 7/13/09 update

Obviously, you're free to wager and money-manage as you wish.  But what you just described in your post is not the recommended way

    2) 5-5-5-5
    3) 5-5-5-5

im not very fond of moving to each line for a series imo it will make for some incredible risk as we start getting to some c-bets but ill track that way since its what you guys want

Well really it's up to each individual which money-management system they want to use.  I was just pointing out that PSIC researched this system and found the best way to wager using it.

Personally, I use 3 lines, but to each his own

Everyone needs to do what's best for them. Doubling my profits is best for me

The end result is the same, but the road there is different. I dont like risking -200 (my book aint -170 anymore) to buy 3 points with my limited bankroll. I'd rather spend -110 and risk less on my wagers just doing AJM.

Maybe someday I will do both, but for now the AJM is good for me personally.

Also, the juice can matter if the JM method shits the bed like MLB did this year. Then those -170 (in my case -200) losses would kill. A -110 loss is a lot easier to stomach.

What if the JM versions have 4 or 5 losses this year?

Actually 4 or 5 losses won't even blink at the Labourchere method.  As long as there's at least 30 wins, you'll recover those losses and still be ahead.

And if the stats hold true as they have for the last few years, we'll be looking at around 80 wins with the v1 and v2 methods, and as many as 150 wins with v4 (although there may be an extra few losses there)

Nice V1 win last night on Toronto!  Playing V2 plays this weekend.  I'll be following the V3 and V4 plays to see how they turn out.

Labby is definitely the way to go with this.  Nole, I agree that laying 2-1 buying 3 points is a rip.  I use 1 book specifically for NBA wagering.  Send me a friend invite

JM has an official V1 C with the Tpups going against Orlando tomorrow.
This is getting good already.  I look forward to his spin if it tanks.
Depending on the line I doubt I will touch that game.
    The fuse is lit.

what do you guys mean with aggresive labouchere money managment?

    is it:

Bet 30 to win 20 and you lose

    10 - 10 - 10 - 25
    10 - 10 - 10 - 25
    10 - 10 - 10 - 10

    Or just:
    10 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 15
    10 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 15
    10 - 10 - 10 - 10

It was Minnesota [B] @ Miami.  For some reason it would not paste the whole JM email.
