pokerpro, that's actually the improper way to use the Labourchere if you're using it for a 2 or 3 game chase. PSIC did research and back tested up to 5 years worth of data, and they came up with this:

Obviously, you're free to wager and money-manage as you wish. But what you just described in your post is not the recommended way
The end result is the same, but the road there is different. I dont like risking -200 (my book aint -170 anymore) to buy 3 points with my limited bankroll. I'd rather spend -110 and risk less on my wagers just doing AJM.
Maybe someday I will do both, but for now the AJM is good for me personally.

Also, the juice can matter if the JM method shits the bed like MLB did this year. Then those -170 (in my case -200) losses would kill. A -110 loss is a lot easier to stomach.
What if the JM versions have 4 or 5 losses this year?
Actually 4 or 5 losses won't even blink at the Labourchere method. As long as there's at least 30 wins, you'll recover those losses and still be ahead.
And if the stats hold true as they have for the last few years, we'll be looking at around 80 wins with the v1 and v2 methods, and as many as 150 wins with v4 (although there may be an extra few losses there)
