During these 7 game losses, were any of the chase teams ever Underdogs and lost by only 1 run so that the losing streak would have ended if the RL was played?
Great question. I definitely remembered quite a few underdogs in those 7-loss streaks, so I checked. Looks like the RL would have ended every streak except those 2013 Rangers.
2016 Nationals Lost by one run in games 4 and 5 as underdogs.
2015 Mets Lost by one run in game 6 as an underdog.
2013 Cardinals Lost by one run in game 5 as an underdog.
2013 Indians Lost by one run in game 3 as an underdog.
2013 Dodgers Lost by one run in games 3 and 4 as an underdog.
2013 Rangers Texas was only an underdog in game 7, and lost by 4.

Excellent work. Maybe that's what we should focus on. If they're a favorite play the money line, and if they're a dog play the run line. It's just a thought.

Changing those underdog ML bets to favorite RL bets will definitely stretch the timeline for a potential chase loss. Just a question of how much juice a person's bankroll can handle.
Great win today by Cleveland!

Should we go for Mets on Game 7 then? Or move forward with Washington?
