When you post the pick the line is +172 You don't buy Tigers RL at this time. 30 minutes before gametime you assign units to the pick, lets say you assign 8 units to Tigers RL. 20 minutes before gametime you buy 8 units Tigers RL. The best line at this time is +150. Tigers RL is a winner, so you have a profit of 8*0.50 = 4 units. The posted pick was +172, so IF you had bought 8 units to this price, the profit is 8*0.72 = 5.76 units This is 1.76 more than YOU actually won.
So is the 2.38 units only a theoretical number?
I mean, if you knew the line would move to +150, you surely would have bought at +172 instead of +150.

I have no interest in getting attention, but I have an interest in being better to use my own methods, and a thread like this in an open forum can accomplish that.

1.50 -> -200 in american odds

Wouldn't the correct way would be 8 x 1.72, which would be a profit of 13.76 units
100$ bet at +172 = $100 x 1.72 = 172, not $100 x 0.72 which would equal 72.
