Hmm because they haven't won a game yet, they have the lowest goals for and are one of the highest for goals against. Stay away from the laughs, er I mean leafs....
cwp1979, you should of read the last page on what I wrote about Toronto, in the above quote....

I played home games last year without fading and left up around 45 units. Look at it this way if you have a loss playing road games, instead of just dividng it up on your next couple road game series, you can also divide it up on some of your home game series as well...
Only filter this year, is don't take Toronto...
Hectar, are you using labouchere for your C bets as well? or martingaling it?

Scotte wrote that at least one of the 3 on the road had to be against different conference.
If that were true then why was CLB a play because their 3 games were @CGY @ EDM @ ANA ?
and why was / is Det a play @ PHO @ COL @ VAN ?
or is it any 3 on the road?
Yes your correct, they are playing the "old system(it don't matter were the 3 teams are from) along with the newest system(one team must be from another conference), I hope you understand it now. If you want to play using the latest system, check to make sure one of the teams are cross conference, gl

TOR and DET - Brutal!! Talk about variance - my "A" record is 3-4 and my "B" record is 0-3 for a total unit loss of 21 since starting the away system last Saturday.

Man, this modified labby on just the A + B games is destroying my bankroll. So, what is everyone else planning on doing with this? I am on the rocks. I am not sure if I want to just cut my losses and quit the system now, continue and hope it eventually hits a smooth patch for a extended while, or just go to the traditional ABC chase with filters like I was originally planning on before I read this thread.

Feel the pain - I was risking .25 units and still lost 20 Jumped off earlier this week
Option 1 Is labbying 3 games with splitting up your losses but still these game 1's and 2's are killing the system
Option 2 I thought of is waiting for gm1 of a series to lose then playing games 2 and 3 as 1 and 2 for us
Option 3 Also came to mind was to fade the road trip team by playing the home team with the filters applied in reverse - good news is getting less juice
Others are still martingaling it - they got balls What do you think - open to other suggestions too

One thing I am considering is possibly adding some kind of extreme
filter to the system to weed out only the high percentage chase series
of the bunch and martingaling it and hoping I don't lose any of the series.
Although, after the hit I have taken with that system so far, I will likely just abandon the system all together and just go to my own NHL systems instead which I have more confidence in. lol. I have two on the table, one backtested with flawless results and one I thought of recently that at least sounds good in theory.

I am looking at option 2, waiting for the B and C games....as hectar has pointed out, with the C games, the system is undefeated. As this seems to have a higher win rate than the A and B.
I actually like the idea of playing the reverse. by chasing the home teams with less juice. However, if the numbers from the last 5 years are true, wouldn't it be a matter of time, before the numbers average themselves out again?
or if you really wanna be conservative, you could just play the C games.
For tomorrow, Tor +1.5 looks brutal....but i wouldn't play the reverse as that would've hit already with Van last night. ...maybe Rangers vs Phx though.

Depending on your filters, did'nt Columbus have a C loss yesterday?
Getting ugly early. Glad I did not chase Clbs there.
As with a lot of you, I am, down overall. However, I am sticking with the sytem going forward. I am assuming it has to even out. I have reduced my units even further, and I am not chasing losses at this point. It will cut down on profit potential, but the hope is that I still end up overall in the end. It is a long season, with plenty of series still to play and win.
GL to us all.

Nah, Columbus beat Anaheim Saturday night to cover their C game.
Pistol, Can I hear more about your other system? PM me...
Also with Nolemon....I am sticking with this and just lowering my units until it finds a groove. The Home system has been pretty solid, you guys may want to take a look at it. The win rate has been much higher and the juice has been much lower. A pretty good combo, that.

I think that has been the biggest change for me with the losses. Instead of playing this as a A/B Chase with strict Labby MM, I have been chasing C games, but playing them basically to halve my losses from the A & B Games. I will be on Detroit with you tomorrow Nolemon.
Also on Toronto and Phoenix tonight, but basically instead of looking to cross off 2 numbers from my looooooong lines, I will just try to nip them one at a time for now....
GL to us both

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong! I remember reading that October can be a little hard on the bankroll, remember this is a marathon not a sprint! I too have taken a beating, but it is a long season!

Is there another filter saying to eliminate a team with a poor road record? Detroit I believe is winless on the road? You got to figure the Wings will pull there heads out sooner or later! I want so much to pound them tommorrow night C wager, any thoughts?
