This is something I thought about a little while ago and decided to research it. The details are simple, I think, but let's see how this goes:
In the above example, Toronto has not had a side/total combination repeat over these 5 games. Now you begin to chase.
1) Find a team that has had 5 straight games where the side and total do not have the same outcome 2 times in a row.
Ex:
| 11/06/13 | @ Charlotte | L 90-92 | Regular Season | L -2.5 | U 187 |
| 11/05/13 | Miami | L 95-104 | Regular Season | L 5 | O 195 |
| 11/02/13 | @ Milwaukee | W 97-90 | Regular Season | W -1 | U 191 |
| 11/01/13 | @ Atlanta | L 95-102 | Regular Season | L 3.5 | O 195 |
| 10/30/13 | Boston | W 93-87 | Regular Season | L -8 | U 189.5 |
2) The first game of the chase is a 2 team parlay based on the outcome of the 5th game. In this case:
