So I have another question, sorry if this seems obvious to everyone else, but that's what these forums are for right? helping each other out.
My question is in regards to the first game in rotation on SBR. From reading through the whole thread I have obtained that this system is playing the NL, but some are also choosing to pay the AL too.
1) Will the first game listed on SBR always be the NL?
2) Does that mean a game played in NL stadium or game between two NL teams?
3)And if playing the AL is it the first game listed with both teams AL or just a game in an AL stadium?
Thanks in advance,
1) Yes, rotation numbers start with NL games first. So as long of there is any NL game, it will be first. Only exception would be playoffs if only AL teams are playing, and not NL.
2) between NL teams. interleauge games are usually listed last on the bottom of the rotations.
3) order of rotation is usually: NL vs NL, AL vs AL, NL vs AL. within the leagues, they are usually sorted by start time...but not always.
If games are moved, they usually get added to the bottom of the rotation. Looks at today; BOS/TB's 1pm game (which was moved from April 30) is listed as 971/972 & their 7pm game (original schedule) is listed as 959/960.
Once a rotation number is established, it does not change.

Cheers for clarifying that for me Bart, greatly appreciated. Just so we can see if I'm on the right track, I'm seeing Miami Marlins +1.5 For today (I understand it's meant to be on closing line but doesn't look like it will change). I'm having trouble seeing what the AL game would be, if someone could explain how I would see that today that would be awesome. Thanks again for the assistance, and hopefully these questions will help other newbies understand too. :)

MIA +1.5 is the play for tonight.
SEA +1.5 is the AL play for tonight. I'm not sure of this record though. It would be the lowest rotation all-AL game of the day.
Tomorrow will be CHC & the dog from the TB/NYY game.

first off let me say, I love your systems and love trying to beat the books, however I hate when people post stats that are wrong. in your first post, last year results it has
Last years results were:
A) 71
B) 25
C) 13
D) 3
E) 1 So a 5 game chase to keep undefeated.
however between June 3-8th of last year you get the an F game
6-3 Phillies (-188) beat Mia 7-2 - A
6-4 Phillies (-146) beat Mia 7-3 - B
6-5 Atl (-119) beats Pitt 5-0 - C
6-6 Stl (-170) beats Az 12-8 - D
6-7 Pitt (-120) beats Chc 2-0 - E
6-8 your F game wins with Atl (-220) losing to Mia 2-1
Just an FYI as I just started looking at the 2013 numbers and made it to the first 2 weeks of June with finding a mistake, just curious how many times you double checked your numbers on past years and how many other times chase games went past E

While I appreciate you checking up on my systems. I'm afraid you are in fact wrong. I may make a mistake but it would be a rarity. If you look closely at 6/6 you shall see that game you listed was NOT first game in the rotation. Thanks for double checking me I'm only human!

On 6-6, the 1st game NYM at Wash was rained out and therefore a no play. You subbed in the next game on schedule.
Best of Luck to all.

This is good stuff KC. Good to see some constructive criticism and everyone acting like grown ups for once. Jeff - I want to play this system but only chasing A and B games. Once a B loses wait for the next A game to chase the loss. Do you think this method is feasible?

I think you would have to increase base unit on next (A) game to recover.

Yes Carolina was, and we had a winner!! Personally I played this system on a labby line each line being 1 unit (4 numbers) and called it quits once I made 10 units. easiest 10 units anyone could ever make. thanks jeff, can't wait to steal another 10 easy units come baseball season. I shake my head at "handicappers" that spend countless hours perfecting their match projections when there are plenty of easy methods to net a quick 5 or 10 units. English gents top fav labby line (run by danrules) is up 16.75 units for the year and no thinking required. That's 26.75 units so far this season, more than some of these so called "professionals" make in a year, and much less time and effort invested. I find with these systems though it's very important to set your season goal and stop oncenter it is reached as the later the season goes with these, the more chance there is of a bust. I haven't had time to figure out where the optimal time or unit targent would be for these, but when I can afford to quit work I will spend every waking hour back testing the shit out such things. The more systems you can play that have not lost for 5+ years using non martingale money management setting solid unit targets, the better off you will be in this game.
