I would be very interested in seeing if we can come up with a Modified Labby system specifically for this Chase. I have been playing it as a strict Martingale and thats fine with me because the juice is always friendly on O/U plays....But a Labby is always preferred I guess.....
Even with a Martingale, and the 5 losses, that should equate to being about 30 units up....maybe 25 or so if you factor in some juice. Those results work for me!
Keep up the good work Gasman and Kangy!!

Picked up 2 series wins with Florida last night and a huge series loss with Washington, was hoping for that push!
Paulus, jtyke - let me go back and re-do those numbers. Looks like like there was an additional loss or two that was missed, so I am going to go over every team again to make sure. Two losses in the last two days for sure.
Like Montana says, money management is the key. Spread those losses across the next set of series. I will go back and work on a legitimate money management example to help out. If you are Martingaling this system like the unit system says, each series loss is approximately 7 units (not counting juice), it might be easier to spread a loss over the next 7 series in an attempt to recoup those losses. However, with the last two losses, that would either mean doubling or tripling our normal bet size to regain the losses.
I want to work on a surefire labourchere method that is easy to do and minimize losses. I have been experimenting with one, I just need to make sure I can present it in a way that everyone can understand.... then it this will no longer be about units, it will be about clearing lines for profit which is the ultimate goal.
Current open series that I have through games of 11/20.....
11/14 OTT [C], PIT [C] 11/15 CHI [B] 11/17 MTL [B] 11/19 CAR [A], ATL [A], STL [A], NAS [A], ANA [A] 11/20 BUF [A], DET [A]
34-2 Since October 26 Gasman posts 66-5 unofficial record for season
Games for Saturday PIT [C] / ATL [A] - o6 BUF [A] / OTT [C] - u5.5 DET [A] / MTL [B] - u5.5 TB / CAR [A] - u5.5 CLB / NAS [A] - u5.5 NYI / STL [A] - u5.5 SJ / ANA [A] - u5.5 CHI [B] / EDM - u5.5
At least we have a shot at clearing the board tonight. Every team on the "chase" list is playing!!
We will prevail!!
I think labby is a great idea. I've been to the website: https://platinumsportsinvesting.com/labourchere.aspx its great and i understand those examples but when you're betting 5-7 games at different chase levels it gets confusing. If someone could post the current labby lines for one of our starting chases and update it each day we could all learn the correct way in real time. Our individual starting bet would be a multiple of current labby line so it could apply to everyone's different betting amts. Just an idea.

Somewhat familiar with what you said I know a version of this as the up down martingale which yes applied to a solid system can be successful too Cool............ Over the river or through the woods to grandma's house we go As long we get there no matter which way Appreciate
Bummer with loses but we'll get 'em back guys Thanks Kangy.......... He' right - no need to worry with this juice and series loses There's some fine cooking here and add a little sprinkle of some wise recovery MM methods can make for nice BR when its time to feast

I have been doing this system for about 10 days now and have been using the Labourchere for around 8 months or so. I started out with half my normal unit size probably a month or so and then will decide whether to raise my wager up to one unit. The other night when there were several games, I came out ahead but my losses I split by dividing by 5 and applying them to the next five A games only. 3 of the lines have cleared and I now am waiting on the results of tonight's action. If one or both don't clear I will send the losses to the B bets for these teams. My next A games will start at half a unit and continue this way unless I have a C loss on either Nashville or Toronto. I am up 7 (half) units in 7 days. If you keep your unit size low and let the Labourchere do its stuff, the volume of games should give some pretty good results. But hey, I have only been doing this technique for 10 days.

Might be the first time I agree with a Maple Leaf fan, but paulus is correct :)

Well, since i started a week ago,i have caught the losing end of the C losses, but lucked out and played the chi game yesterday.Dumb luck? I like the idea of sprinkling some of the loss money around and recouping it eventually. This system will kick up another run of straight wins Keep up the posts guys and thanks.

sorry for asking so many questions. im quite new to NHL but would like to learn.
Gasman, when you say.. "system C" does that mean you only bet the "C" games or are those just the statistics of the "C" games since october 26th
system c is just the name of this system you bet them all... game a 1 unit if lose then game b 2 units if lost game c 4 units.... you stop after a win. if your game c loses then you lost that series.... the first page of this thread has more detail

Nashville seemed an easy victory at 3-1 for the under. In Toronto It was 0-0 with half the game over but thanx to some poor goaltending and the Leafs coming back to tie it at 3 we got the over.
Way to go System C and thanx to gasman33 and usaKangy.
