All kind of different, All above are languages.

Operating systems are Unix Linux and Windows.

If you want to start I would say look at an A+ book first to learn the basics of computing. Dont waste too much time, you probably know most of it.

HTML is great to know, it gives you an idea of context syntax and how code is compiled to create a discernible output. It is a markup language used in most everything you see online, and is a GREAT way to start. It is very simple, and you can incorporate JavaScript etc later to add to your knowledge.

Then I would go into Programming Logic before choosing a specific language. Learn about "Object Oriented Programming".

then I would look into visual basic it is a great starter for programming. There are tons of tutorials and you can actually download what is called an "express edition" for free from the Microsoft website. There are some great tutorials put out by Microsoft. Tons of books and tutorials online on Youtube and torrent sites, and some good resources on the web.

Get at me if you need any guidance. I am finishing my IT degree and am by no means an expert but you are welcome to anything I might be able to help you with.

They are all good. Tell me what you want to do first and I'll give you advice. If it's a career thing, you might as well just jump into c# basics.

I got into programming as a hobby witting spyware and tearing up the internet in the early 2000's.

Today, I have a legitimate good job with a descent company. Plus, I'm under the witness protection program.

Ok, just kidding about the witness protection program. lol

&#xD;&#xA;Learn all three.  Right now c&#x2B;&#x2B; is the flavor to know though.  Depending on if you have ever done any programming.  You probably should start out with VB. It is pretty easy to learn and use. &#xD;&#xA;It was derived from BASIC and starts you out in the GUI universe. &#xD;&#xA;Actually VB is .NET now, but it&#x27;s still called VB.  It&#x27;s all Microsoft world. &#xD;&#xA;I started using VBfor Windows  when it came out in 1991.   First time I programmed a GUI.  It was interesting indeed.  But programming was so much more easy !!!!!  But I ended p using VB for MS-DOS much more. It had a fake GUI. It wa a text interface but it looked like a GUI. &#xD;&#xA;There is so much you can do.  But yeah, I would start off with VB first.  It can springboard you into many other paths

Don&#x27;t waste a single second on VB. Either leard C# or skip .Net entirely.
