Computer shut itself down about 10 times already today....any ideas why?

Question

I saw Lippsman posted this thread yesterday, but I deleted McAfee and have Malwares and Avast

I have windows 7 and it just happened to my computer about 5 times. A few shutdowns during bootup.
I then finally got it semi booted and it went to a blackscreen asking me if I wanted a bootup repair ( recommended )
I did.

It then said it had to restore my computer to a previous restore point.

I recently had another computer of mine repaired by a computer geek and hope when I finally use it, the damn thing isn't nuked by the thing that attacked yesterday and my computer today.

Any suggestions what I can to ahead of time for my recently repaired computer ( that runs windows XP )

Well no, it can be a lot of things. I dont know what you should do besides trying to use a previous backup of windows or do a clean re install.

At least I believe that&#x27;s the deal. Although some XP computers were hit. Did Windows 7 go through the whole repair process ?

had a similar issue a few years ago. i opened the computer tower up and cleaned out all the dust and crap. worked like a charm after that... dont think its a similar situation but i know how frustrating this can be

Happened to me again today...

then I moved the laptop and the battery fell out and hit me square between the boys.......
