Cursor problems

Question

I have found recently that I&#x27;m having to double left click or treble click on links or regular basic functions to get them open.Sometimes I see this circle with a diagonal cross in the middle come up as well.&#xD;&#xA;I don&#x27;t think this a form of shift lock as  I&#x27;ve inadvertantly activated that before and got it back ok &#xD;&#xA;could it be something wrong with the left click button on my laptop or is it something else ??

Try resetting the mousepad - that&#x27;s what I do when the scroll stops working for whatever reason.Control Panel -&gt; Mouse -&gt; Device Settings -&gt; Reset Devices

hugh &#xD;&#xA;I tried that but it doesn&#x27;t seem to have worked I&#x27;m using the touchpad now instead of the right click button which seems to be totally screwed &#xD;&#xA;I&#x27;ll probably just buy a new mouse for it
