so,,,,my computer had about 30 viruses, so i took it to a guy who cleaned them all up for me nicely,
but since I have gotten it back, for some reason, it won't allow me to connect to wireless networks,,,,,to make sure it wasn't a problem at my place, I went to a couple different coffee shops and verified it, the problem definetly has to do with my computer? anybody have any ideas here for me? (if you are wondering--its working now because i have one of those ata&t devices in it right now---verrrrrrrrry slow)...thanks in advance for any suggestions anybody may have

He could of corrupted your winsock when the virus and malware was removed. But you should have problems posting if that was the case. Could be a ton of things. Maybe he disabled your wireless card. That's the first thing I would check out.
And oh yeah, I would take it back to him and say fix my wireless connection.
