Been looking at it on phonescoop. It looks pretty good, but I want a full QWERTY keyboard on it. I like the HDMI output it has.

&#xD;&#xA;I just can&#x27;t do the T-9 stuff and I do just have to have a physical one.  I have tried the full QWERTY touchscreen ones, but just like the feel of the buttons.  Also I type a good bit without looking at the keyboard.  Never will happen with a touchscreen pad. &#xD;&#xA;And I gotta admit I like having a Windows OS to work with. I know there are converters for Outlook and office docs, but it just isn&#x27;t 100% clean. Even though it is nice for those tons of apps. &#xD;&#xA;Although most people just go crazy for all the different apps and then after the newness wears off they hardly ever use them.  I am waiting for Mobile Windows 7 to come out and see what phones will offer them.

First drawbacks I see are the provider and the OS. Ive played around with the Windows OS a bit on the HD2 and I felt that it looked clean and very sharp, but still lacked a little bit in response time and it was a bit laggy.

Not hating just giving my two cents. It does looks nice though

Evo does not run on Windows OS, it runs on the latest Android OS with HTC Sense.  The reviews are saying that the OS is very snappy and fast and renders beautifully.  As for provider, that is very much YMMV.  Depends a lot on where you live, especially the new 4G coverage.  But in the areas where Sprint has good coverage I think they do an excellent job.  But again, just depends where you live.

It&#x27;s still a work in progress as it&#x27;s still relatively new to market, but ultimately I think the Google beast Android OS will overwhelm the closed-minded iphone OS.  These smartphones are just gonna keep getting better and better.  It&#x27;s not perfect but from what I can tell this is gonna be the best damn phone on the market, for now anyway.

It&#x27;s only on Sprint for now, so most won&#x27;t be getting this phone.  The 4G network is not getting the best reviews and that $10 charge are some negatives that are more Sprint than the phone.  But then again, that stuff does factor heavily in the whole experience.I am liking the direction of the Android OS and phones coming out for it.  The new Android OS 2.2 updates look quite impressive and they have tons of phones to pick from for different people&#x27;s tastes.  As is becoming typical with Apple products, they make a grand entrance with their initial design and usability, but then don&#x27;t really make any real major changes of the product going forward.  Aside from the minor tech updates to keep pace with the market, the iPhone is still the same exact phone generally speaking design and usability wise from the original released on Day 1.
