Looks like a pretty sick deal, and I know you are a Dell man...
What do you think?
I need to replace my notebook with a burnt out backlight, and I'm not sure that I need to have the portability right now, for home use....
I wouldn't mind setting up that unit, with dual monitors, and having a nice little powerhouse to bet on, have line services running, and some other programs that suck the hell out of my current PC...
Let me know what you think.

Yeah, that's not a bad deal. The CPU may be a slight bottleneck, depending on what you are doing. But as long as you are not doing some huge photoshop or Auto-Cad stuff you will be fine.
I was up your way a few weeks ago. Just love the outter banks

I won't be doing anything crazy with it at all... Not photoshop, or anything like that...
Just a real time line service up, to monitor line movements and a few other java and quicktime applicatons, that are heavy on the CPU as it is... I like the fact that it will come with another flatscreen monitor, and I can run dual monitors, and have several books up at once, and dilly dick around with the rest of my stuff.....
The outer banks are great, but I haven't made it up there yet since I moved up this way... Hell I went from going to the beach 6 days a week in MB to having been to the beach here a total of 2 times in a year... I hate it.

Did you move back a good bit? Were you pretty much oceanfront in MB?
I am just a block away in MB. But I don't go to the beach as much as I should. Maybe once a month. But in the summer I will usually avoid it big time......Damn tourons.
I really like going later on in the day or even at night. Can't deal with the heat of the day crap. Although during the summer it's the best time for eye candy.
You have to make time to hit the outterbanks. You take a few ferries to get to everything. One of them is a pretty long trip though. 2 hours on it. But it's great views. Just bring a cooler of brew and it's a great time for all. They don't care as long as you don't advertise it. Some of those islands have some shops as soon as you get off the ferry, then it's a few miles of nothing but sand dunes.
Also you can take dune buggy's and such on the beaches. Real run time.

Mileage wise... I live much closer to the beach here than I did in myrtle... but because of the barrier islands, it takes me 20+ minutes to get out to wrightsville beach, pay for parking, then jockey with ALL the tourists in town, just because the beach is so small...
It is not like myrtle where you have 62 miles of beach to pick your spot. I had my poles in the water with not a sole around me 10 minutes after I left the house... couldn't beat that... Really miss it... I miss SC a ton in general.. A real difference in people just an hour's drive and a state border away...
But I do need to get back up there to the OBX... has been some time since my last visit. It is enjoyable, that's for sure...
