Do you know much about the sports books on our Casino Boats?
I got to thinking about it the other day, and was just curious as to what you thought about them. Do you know where they get the lines they use? Or what games you can wager on? Or any rules they have? Or if they shade the lines on the USC or Clemson games? Or anything else?
Its been about 2 years since I've been out on it, and it was only to get a roll of quarters, and get shitty at the bar playing the video poker, or WETF the games are.
Let me know what you know, sir.

The last I heard they get thier lines from the Las Vegas Sports Consultants. And yes, they shade, shade, shade. Baseball has a .20 spread.
Let's see, what book can I compare them to so you can get a feel for them......let's see.......
Oh yeah, I got the perfect comparision. BODOG.
Yep, they are Bodog on a ship!!!!!!!!!
It really is a jip-joint operation, also they really don't do that much business with it. Considering they get mainly blue hairs on the ships. I will go about twice a year and it's not by my choice. Usually when friends and family blow into town they just have to go there. I also hate the idea of being stuck on the ship for about 6 hours of so.
They do have lines on all of the big games though. You won't find added college games or anything like that. But will have all of the biggies covered.
If you just have to have a fix I guess it would work for ya. Considering all of the crap we have to go through just to wager online now. But I'm sure if you sat at the bar at Spencerz you could find someone to take your wagers also.

I didn't figure it would be the best idea in the world considering the demo, but I was just interested to see if there was a way to take advantage o any soft lines, or slow moves or anything like that.
But reminding me that you have to be out there for 6hrs, and the piss poor ventilation and 40000 packs of cigs that are smoked inside may keep me from making it a habit.
I have a few options for getting a local here, but I think I'll just keep to my online accounts. I like the fact I can only spend what I have online, and I can review all my wagers at any time.
Appreciate the info.
