My enter key doesn&#x27;t work on my on screen keyboard or my reg. keyboard. Shut comp down restarted still no luck.

Youch !!!!!&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Now you said screen keyboard.  Do you mean the keyboard that&#x27;s in Microsoft&#x27;s accessibilities options?&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Possible the key is shorted and is actually shorting the virtual keyboard.  You got a cheapie extra keyboard sitting around ?

t&#x27;s a toshiba laptop. My regular keyboard enter does not work neither does my on screen (Clink N Type) keyboard enter key work.

Ok then, you plugged your regular keyboard into the usb port?&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Sounds like you need to replace your laptop keyboard.  There could be a short that is causing your regular keyboard not to work either. &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Just for the hell of it, download malwarebytes and run a scan.  Shouldn&#x27;t help, but there is a slight possibility.

Clink n type is an onscreen keyboard no hook ups of any sort just a download program. Plus all my other keys work fine. Are there any keyboard updates that might help?

oh....major miscommunication here.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Do you have a regular keyboard from a desktop computer you can plug into the usb port.

Does it have a purple plug on the end of it.  &#xD;&#xA;I think you may just have to get that keyboard changed out.  Try to borrow a desktop keyboard from someone that has a usb connector on it.
