Run DLL problem

Lippsman,

Every time I turn on my comp, this message window appears: 

C:WINDOWS\DDABXV.DLL

SPECIFIED MODULE COULD NOT BE FOUND

Exactly what does this mean?  Is there anyway I can fix it.

Also concerning the AVG, the free trial will expire within 6 days.  Do I need to purchase it or can I just keep it like that for temp protection.

Thanks Willie...I checked out that site but it does not have the DLL that I'm having problem with.

In fact, I tried to google it but it does not exist.  Very strange.

When did it begin happening. Maybe a system restore can fix the problem.

Willie,

I was having problem with the Trojan virus along with Vundo and some other ones so I downloaded different programs to erase it.  I finally downloaded AVG (thanks to Lippsman) and it has fixed the problem so far.  If I use system restore, would those problems come back? 

As you can see, I don't have that much experience with computer.

Once the trojan is not detected, you should have no problem using system restore (as long as the trojan didn't erase them. However, create a system restore point before going back.
I had the same problem with Vundo at my work computer. I was able to fix the problems with several scans and AVG. I fixed the problem. The only minor issue I have is that my home page is screwed up. But, it is not a major issue for me since it is only in the PC at work.

Follow what williechil said,that is a great first start.  If this doesn't fix things you can do some things in recovery console to repair the file.
