Site for digital camera info (flash speed)

I have a Canon A95 Powershot and it has been dropped one too many times, so it is time to look for a new camera.

Anyone know of a site that gives detailed information about flash speed?

I tried CNet and generic searches, with no real luck.

The downside of the Canon I have is the flash is so slow, a huge problem.

More than likely I will just hoof it into a camera retailer and try to get the scoop that way.

 Heres an example of the info you can get on your current camera from the dpreview.com site.
 
 
theres 10 differnt pages about this camera, it has all the info a person could every need about the camera. 
On the home page, look for the latest reviews of cameras, good stuff.

I went to that first link and tried their search feature and it didnt have the "quick flash" as a choice.

I could spend hours trying to read spec pages for cameras, I was hoping (and thought that CNet would have it) to find a way to get a list of the best flash cameras out there..

Will keep looking, thanks for those links.

Yep that is where I went.

They have everything under the sun but flash speed.

Maybe it isnt something tracked, but from many reviews I have seen it is a BIG deal and it was the worst problem I had with the A95, the warm up time for a flash was terrible..meaning the push button, engage and click.

 So what you want is basically whats on this page
but you want to be able to search it out on all the cameras at once.
 
Let me ask you.  What exactly do you want to use the camera for?  If you want to increase your flash speed then you should really look to buy an slr digital camera instead of just a regular digital camera.  Those cameras are designed for quick shooting.

Camera is for home use, so a faster speed but not high end. Movies etc important..we liked owning the A95 but the speed was very slow flash wise.
